Watatsumi Island is NOT nicer at all. It had an electro seelie that flies around the entire island including behind electro barriers. It had that one cursed electro compass puzzle with electro slimes at the waterfall. It had multiple collect the electro particles time trials where you can hardly see the particles because they blend in with colour palette of the island so well.

I'm sorry, but Inazuma was a nightmare. The scenery is breathtaking, but solving more arrow puzzles could drive me insane. If only the Sakura tree rewards didn't exist, maybe I wouldn't have explored Inazuma that much. The electro probe arrows were so inconsistent sometimes. I literally got so mad that I finally gave up. Why did they invent those annoying electro Seelies? Please, move more normally! Your character can die just from standing around, even when I'm literally near a Statue of the Seven. The electrogranum levels are also ridiculous. I'm glad they didn't introduce dendrogranum levels; otherwise, I might go berserk. I'm sorry for complaining so much, but Inazuma was incredibly frustrating for me. Although I should be relieved because I don't have many Inazuma characters that I use regularly, except for Kazuha

it's the complete opposite for me. aside from the electrogranum levels which i agree felt very unnecessary and quite limiting, i absolutely LOVED exploring inazuma, so much that i've had my comms set there since 2.0. i do understand why some would find it "frustrating" though, its relatively more challenging than all previous regions combined and definitely wasn't made with the "casual" crowd in mind. still, i do prefer it over liyue's torturous mountains or sumeru's confusing underground mazes. 😂

I know a lot of OG genshin players that are made at new ones for "having it easy", but I actually feel really happy that you don't have to experience the same level of frustration, pain, anger and discomfort as we did because of the recent updates, bug fixes, quality of life features etc. I do think it helped to "build character", but sometimes it was just unnecessarily complicated.

As a person who uses that map to check stuff, I recommend trying some Enkanomiya trials. There is that quest with Primordial Bisharps that was really hard for a F2P and it is just so good

There was a brain-dead trial where you had to kill 3 of the big Bisharps in about 60 or less seconds, which wasn't easy. I think it was in the left upmost island. It was one of the quest you had to talk to an illusion.@@L16htW4rr10r

The time trials and puzzles were way more cursed than the electroculi. Because even the hardest electriculus to get on top of Tenshukaku is possible to get with the help of just geo traveler with help of some tutorial videos on KZbin. The time trials and puzzles really depends on your luck and the specific characters you own

It’s in the Varanara (The place where all the Aranara are that’s locked behind a fun quest) area and it should be to the left above the Luxurious Chest and to the bottom right of the Phantasmal Gate. I really like inazuma, it was the first new region and it sparked my love of genshin at the time of its release, so seeing such visceral reactions to the puzzles and difficulties of the map baffles me. Some of it were hard but not THAT bad.

I apsolutely love where the map is going. At the last bits of the desert in sumeru they start using that one scene from the traveler guest where the kahnrian points to point to the object you are trying to find. And the plethora of "i am unter the water" memes in fontaine. The genshin interactive map is a gem among gems.

I relate in a spiritual level to the top Signora pic, god knows I took him to my weeklies for the first 2 months to kick her ass out of principle. Also, I thought the Tenshukaku electroculus was fun but that's because I'm that bitch who had Kazuha and Zhongli and Venti at the time so I could just cheese it. Now I also have Scara to cheese them even easier

Honestly I love doing parkour in all kinds of games so I never thought those electroculi or challenges were that bad lmfao. Did think that challenge at the river was crazy, had to give myself a time-out in order to not ragequit 🤣 I do hope that they will continue harder to reach oculi because they give you a real sense of accomplishment instead of just walking toward it and anticlimactically "getting it".

I'm so glad that when inazuma came out my friends are still on genshin so i can do some of the puzzles in coop with their help, now i can't imagine doing it without them since non of them plays anymore but thanks god fontaine is a breeze
