Why do any upper level riders have different ways of doing the rein back that involve moving their seat in different ways forward and back and bringing their legs so far back as well as actively pulling back on the reins and which way is the best way to do it that is effective, efficient and kind to the horse?

I can see after watching this video that this is a really great and light soft way of asking for the rein back. Why are there so many other upper level riders doing so much more and in different ways that look a little bit more harsh?

If you draw your leg backwards in addition to what he says you will get even better results. It’s as if you were pulling the horse backwards by the hair of his side

A head thats tossing isn't always a bad behaved horse its in pain horses are never in pain in a normal halter even if you have hard hands ofcourse have soft hands & understand pressure & release but you get my point.

"Soft" English is a unnatraul head carriage for no reason. Than you put that pain bit so far back its creating wrinkles so theres already pain in it's mouth than you keep constant pressure & alot of it on the reins so the horse is already in so much pain. Bits are designed to cause pain & always do no matter how used so all bits are abusive & all mechanical hackamores are to just ride bitless. Bits say you can make a horse do something cause its in pain bitless says the horse is well trained so than willing to do what you ask my bitless horses always do what I ask even in emergency situations when their scard.
