Women stay for the comforts, the money, the security, the shame, the fame, the name, the gaadi, the bungalow, the jewelry, the society, the parents, the kids , the friends, the colony, the office, for god, his extramarital affairs. They stay for any reason. BUT THEY SHOULD LEAVE FOR EVERYONE OF THOSE REASONS. There is always a better life waiting for her.

Actually women are only there for financial dependency... Parents pressure... Social pressure...a position given after marriage and their own beliefs that they are incomplete without marriage. They'll also be dependent on men for the various things you mentioned. Then expecting someone to treat them rightly, which is impossible cause in dependency there will always be exploiter and one will be on receiving end... I'll not call her victim. Because one should see these things clearly beforehand. Why the marriage is taking place ? What is the foundation for it? People should understand that if you'll start something from wrong point (the kind of marriages we have) will not result into good outcome. You can hide as much you want, but you know the reality. So stop living in fairy tales and put hopes that one day a guy will understand me. Go out in the world and earn everything for yourself stop taking jewelleries from him then you'll not have any reason to take beatings from him. When you'll be independent, able to fulfill yourself in materialistically and emotionally then there will be real love. A relationship based not on dependency but pure love.

I don't know who needs to hear this but not leaving your abusive husband doesn't really help your kids. Yes, I can say this with so much confidence because I am one of those kids. Both of my parents are highly educated and extremely good-looking. All of our relatives, friends consider them the perfect couple. But as a kid I grew up watching my dad hurting my mom physically and verbally whenever they had any arguments. My mom didn't leave him for the sake of her kids' 'beautiful future'. So here I am, a woman in her mid-twenties pursuing a PhD who deep down has trust issues and an extreme paranoia towards men. I have been approached by quite a lot of men in my life and even though I know some of them are genuinely nice, I never said yes to anybody. I never allowed myself to fall for anyone. I am too afraid to be in a relationship or marriage, too afraid of being hurt. I wish, I so wish my mom had left that guy before it was too late.

Physical abuse is visible, the slow poison is the verbal n behaviour abuse, without touching the body, a person and their self respect identity everything is killed , externally it's a good going , internally the relation is only humiliation from all sides.

Youre right. Verbal abuse gets ignored easily if complained about. It's very difficult to move out of a relationship with verbal abuse. Society says, "bright side is he didn't hit you". It's very difficult to justify the pain and humiliation one goes through in a verbally and "behaviourally" abusive marriage, even if it is not physical torture, it sure is mental. Self respect starts diminishing. Helplessness causes self hatred to build up gradually to a point which pushes you to think of suicide. That is your rock bottom. That moment you either get destructive thoughts (which is a bad choice) OR ⚠️ you take that leap in your life which shocks everyone else. That is when you emerge as the most powerful version of yourself. That moment you begin loving yourself. I have my own story to tell how I was on the edge of killing myself and how I rescued myself from committing suicide.

Our parents lovingly give us to them not for this. . most men think its their right , u know why ???? Because they have seen their mother being slapped and pushed....at least once ... In turn the mother would have continued with household work like nothing happened.... Actually something very sad happened.... Abuse got away with laughing at the woman...

My wife, me and my child all are victims of domestic violence. Shared this video with her. We both have destroyed each other's happiness and now trying to heal each other. Yes it happens in every marriage until one gives up, i have given up no amount of of talking, love or understanding is enough, it just feels useless to tell your point of view cause you know other person is committed to his or her point. That's how things work in a marriage, filling gaps with occassional happiness. Why destroy even one life on top of it it's called your better half

shruti sharma I agree that Salman can’t act and his films are bad but that is the difference between a star and an actor. An actor like Divya is satisfied when they can tackle a good role and create good content. A star is satisfied by the number of twitter followers or paparazzi followers they can get. If Divya was only after the position of “heroine no 1” she would have limited herself. With her I feel the best is yet to come 💕

That shot was amazing 16:15 when Divya is looking at herself in the mirror and there are two other reflections of her. One is the real self (The one tolerating the abuse), another was the one that she could be (the lateral angle where the head injury isnt visible) who is also looking at her trying to give her courage and the other one is a version of the relationship manager, Anup Soni (or us the audience) who is looking at her (and this one is more effective as here even the woman is looking at us - so there is an interaction) wanting to root for her good future.

Its been a week or so I complained against my husband to his higher official. And yet he is abusing me verbally and mentally torturing me. Instead of realising his mistakes that led me to take such a step. I have a two year old girl and I can't imagine a similar life for her just because I could take a step. No woman deserves abuse mental or physical. To all beautiful women out there, when u feel something is not alright, pls get out of it at the earliest.Today’s society accepts such strong women and supports them. It’s true that in many families, a daughter’s grievance isn’t accepted by her parents and most of them time, she sheds tears all by herself and that drives her to take the ultimate step. Stop being so selfless. Ladies, pls remember that one who raises his hand over you, also has the guts to take ur life away. A true lover or a responsible man never ever lets down his woman. Has your father/brother ever abused you? Don’t depend on such a man for ur survival coz u have all that power to live a great life.

After work I was resting on Sofa and my wife was not letting me there in peace & keep annoying me. I moved my leg unconsciously (I'm 6'1'') and she felled down, She thought I pushed her in anger and she cried a lot on that day. That day I realized that some woman are emotionally very fragile and it's man's responsibility to take care of that. Even if I am highly tried from work & travelling from work to home, right after coming home I should at-least give 30 min to wife (as she is home alone for entire day) instead of resting alone on Sofa watching TV or checking mobile.

Wow.. what a powerful message conveyed vide a short but powerful movie. There was no drama, no histrionics, just simple story telling full of powerful performances - by the actors, director, cinematographer, music... The subtlety of the direction was what made it so impactful. So moving, so touching, so sobering, so eye-opening. So many people need to see this and Learn - learn to not abuse, learn to take a stand and learn to do the right thing. Captivating! Kudos Team! Kudos the RM and Divya.
