The Relic was delightful! As you were reading the verse I was thinking "John....... relic? Pretty brave in Tudor England". I loved how you explained the use of "another time/land" as a tool to offer cover or protection from possible religious persecution. Excellent historical factoid. You have done such a wonderful job introducing me to the works of John Donne and I have become a fan of his verse. This poem in particular was a refreshing shift of tone from the last few. I adore the last line "Should I tell what a miracle she was". Wonderful, just wonderful.
