That was pretty cool. Liked the tug-of-war aspect to it. Maybe give Gaia some teeth though? Like some castles, bombard towers, and longbowmen? Something not so easily cleared.

I feel like another thing that should be added is a timer on the relic that after a number of minutes after being dropped, it teleports back to the middle.

I think a better version of this would be once you cap it, you have hold it for like 100 years. And defend from everyone else as they all try to sack your village and cap it for themselves!

Ehh. The first one to grab the relic would get annihilated and get kicked out of the competition. So you'd actively be punished for trying to play the objective while people who sit in their own bases and focus on their eco are more likely to win. A bit bassackwards.

Salytmacska best translated to English is "Cheezecat". "Cheese" in Hungarian is "sajt", "salyt" is spelled wrong but sounds the same that's why I wrote "cheeze". "Cat" in Hungarian is "macska". Another interesting thing is that "Hungarian" in Hungarian is "magyar", which happens to be Salytmacska's civ. As far as I know "magyars" (plural) or "magyar" (singular) is not a proper English word. I don't know why aoe2 didn't name the civ "Hungarians". Nevertheless, I'm happy that my IRL civ is represented in the game. 😤

The usage varies, but for short hand, "Magyar" is used for the nomadic era prior to the establishment of the Kingdom of Hungary and conversion to Christianity circa 1000 AD.

Relics normally teleport to land when in a transport that sinks. I'm sure it works the same way here. I don't remember if they go to the nearest land or to the land they were last on before boarding the ship though.

I have a feeling ZeroEmpires might make videos again soon, considering the state Relic is currently in ATM. For those unaware, Relic was recently sold by Sega to a private investor. Considering the current contraction of the Video Game Industry, with Covid money drying up, it's possible Zero may or even has lost his job. But considering he's working on AOE4, I can assume Microsoft is bankrolling the whole project and its team.
