Well to look at things from another perspective, this being the first likely instance of Armenians appearing in such a setting, future games of capture the relic will result in players being wary of anyone who is playing as the Armenians due to their speedy priesty boys

Or as one of the chatters suggested, a new relic spawns in the middle when the last one is captured, until 3. If there's a tie at that point, you could continue until there's no longer a tie.

It would be awesome if the gaia units would respawn depending on the amount of units left in the middle. The more units players kill, the higher the respawn rate. Not sure if that would work though.

I definitely agree that Capture the Relic would be more entertaining as a game mode if there was need to hold onto it for a little while. Add a bit more chances for counterplay. Armenians would still have big advantages (faster monks and sturdier monastery) but they'd not be broken.

I like the idea of having to keep the relic for some time, but then maybe we should just call it another mode name because it would be relatively different, isnt it? But as it was here, it's a very nice setup with the mega random. For sure the conclusion can happen very quickly but the rush is very enjoyable in its own way! I'm sure there's a lot of room for all types of small improvements/tweaks too though, but then maybe it wont match as well with a "full" mega random. Armenians very OP for sure though.

Possibility: Must hold captured relic for X years. Starting monasteries still invincible. Monks can force-ungarrison relics from opponent's monasteries by attempting to 'convert' them.

To prevent the game from ending too quickly, capturing the relic shouldn't be an automatic win. Instead, consider for example a 1.5-hour timer that triggers the game's end. The player who holds the relic in the Monastery for the longest duration wins.

As you mentioned at the start of your stream today T90, I enjoy your LEL content the most. I enjoy All your work but LEL is my favorite content. I am aware that your regular content such as commie and lel have to be displaced for special events. I asked in chat why you threw LEL under the bus so often and expressed my disappointment. Holy hell did I get jumped in chat. It seems that asking you a question and expressing my feelings is just asking to get attacked. I have watched all your content multiple times and subscribe to you on twitch. Tuesdays are lel so At most that Might hit 48 streams year. Tournaments and Show games and the various special events I would expect lel to lose at least half of the streams. I would however the reductions would be realitively distributed over All your regular content. Lel is taking a abnormally large hit however. I iasked why that was so and got attacked in chat. I can no longer recommend watching your live streams when your community has become like this. I am going to continue recommending your youtube but I am dropping my sub and unfollowing on twitch.
