What an amazing woman! I grew up reading her stories but had no idea that she was so involved in so many worthy causes. Thank you so much for bringing Beatrix Potter to life.

Thank you for your time and talent creating this film. I so enjoyed learning more details of B.P.’ life journey. While I have been scouring the internet, etc for anything i can learn about her life this helped to quell my urgencies. I will continue to search for more information about this remarkable woman whom I so,admire. As a writer I have not read her books except Peter Cotton Tail. Yet...I collect her figurines. When I found myself identifying with her ma y years ago it gave me trepidation emotionally for some odd reason. I figured out that as a writer who is passionate about my originality, I didn’t want to spoil the pot as it were. Nevertheless, I won’t let this interfere with my desire to learn more about her, as a person. The books can wait.

Very nicely narrated, just the right speed too. Your voice holds my interest which I find is hard to do with some story tellers. Just subscribed!! Can’t wait for more. Thanks 🇨🇦

I just love looking at fungus too, doesn't everybody. Yes, she was ahead of her time being a ecologist and environmentalist and sheep and fungus breeder. She experiment cross breeding sheep with fungus and invented Fungheeps. Even quite a ground breaker by being the first women president of the Sheep Breeder's Association and greatly influence the progress of the woman's movement

I love this deep dive into Beatrix Potter’s life! I first learned about her work as a natural scientist when I was doing some research about science higher education in the later C19. It makes me so sad that she never got to present her research. But I’m happy we’re talking more about her scientific work as well as her children’s books now! 😄

Quick question:- where do the terms 'puddleduck', 'cottontail', etc originate? You'll find that her 'genius' was in plagiarising folktales from the Black slave experience in the old American South. Has this been publicly acknowledged and credited by the Potter society and avid readers?
