I like the Austral but I like this even more and I see initially it's getting the same engine. It'll be interesting to see how it gets 300hp as I doubt it'll be from the same twin electric motors and 1.2 3 cylinder engine, I imagine it'll be a plug in hybrid. I'm sure neither will be that cheap to buy or insure but I'm definitely interested. It has shades of Peugeot's 408 about it. Will be watching this closely as I have a 7 year old 1.6 diesel Kadjar which I'm planning to upgrade to something else in the future but I'm thinking of keeping it for a while longer until I see whether I can get an Austral or one of these as an ex demo model like my current car and therefore save myself some money too.

It looks very nice. However, it will all come down to its pricing. If they keep it below 40,000€, it will compete with a lot of 3008s, Tiguans, Q3s and even X3s. If they go crazy with their price, it will share the same fate as the other Renaults SUVs.

Nice looks but crapy manufacturer. I have 2023 megane and its pure crap. From electronics, sat nav, android auto, anti colision braking system, all of it is foulty or broken, handsfree system died the other day, now it works fine . rain goes in the cabin, and a lot more issues. Just pure crap.
