I think the way they're seemingly doing it, where you get xp then get the chance to purchase them once you have enough, is good, because theoretically the people who are getting it now are putting in the same amount of effort as those who got it originally, just at a different point in time. The only problem would be XP glitches, but they seem to be cracking down on those pretty hard.

Honestly I don't get why their doing this. bringing back Collab skins or storyline characters makes sense because people like them for reasons outside of their rare. But the only appeal with renegade raider and aerial assault trooper is because their rare and if you take that away what's the appeal. By the way I don't own renegade raider I started playing chapter 2 season 5

I own Renegade Raider and I dont really care, I very rarely use the skin because frankly its outdated and boring compared to newer skins, the main reason people like it or want it is due to the rarity around it. Id appreciate an exclusive style since skull trooper, paradigm etc all get them, but I wouldve traded the skin for a battlepass one i missed if I couldve ages ago

I don't know about this, never cared much about exclusivity myself. I do think it'd be pretty cool if you could finish a previous battle pass though. Not buy it, but finish it. For example, I bought the chapter 1 season 9 battle pass but couldn't finish it, and now that they don't seem to care about exclusivity anymore they might as well make it so, during OG season 9, one could finish that specific battle pass

I'm someone that didn't play back in season 1 I started in season 3 so I don't have the original renegade raider but from my perspective I don't think it matters if any of these OG or rare cosmetics come back because it's just a video game they don't cause you like any competitive advantage or anything like that it's just for looks so it really doesn't matter what returns and what doesn't And that's just not me trying to be different in all in like I secretly want renegade raider because I kind of don't because of all the reskins that look better than her it doesn't really matter to me if I want to get her or not

What was the point of the OG pass? The whole point of that was to *avoid* the anger from the community if they just re-released skins. I don't understand at all. The smart play would be to bring new and exciting things to the game, maybe even new collabs - that is what makes the money. An even smarter play would be to bring back *collaboration* battlepass skins to the item shop, people who missed it would get the chance to buy it, which would cause a lot less backlash.
