I had the pleasure of working with this band in 2010 in a small venue. If you ever get the chance to see them in person... DO IT!! They are as good live as their recordings. The Rescues are truly AMAZING, 30 yrs as a front of house engineer and I have to rate them among the best vocals I've ever heard. They are master arrangers as this video demonstrates. Their success is well deserved.

I relate to this version most out of them all. Even though the words are the same the way this one is sung, and the obvious emotion behind it is what really hits me hard here. This version captures the real ideas, and feelings behind the lyrics while the original makes it sound like it's all fun and without true power. It still captures the feeling but only on one or two levels, This version hits all the levels. The feeling I get with this version is how I felt with the first guy I really loved

I direct an a cappella group and we just arranged this cover of the song... but in doing so, we discovered five voices singing at some points in the song.
