I don't know how, but i stumbled upon this and so glad I did!!! I've been looking for something like this since starting my writing journey about 2 years ago. I tried using excel but obvious its nowhere near the level this is on. I've wanted something to visually represent my story and also keep everything from brainstorming, characters, and other things together in one place. The integrated relationship map is great! I was using a separate program to map out relationships. Thanks again for this!!!!!!!

For what it's worth, I use labels like 'informant', 'witness' to keep me in touch with where the POV characters get their information.

Hi again guys! :). May I ask you how to read (understand ) "Readability" under Timeline, please? I just see a flat line with some valleys in it. Thanks so much

Hi, the readability score is a screenplay-optimized version of the Flesh Readability Score (popular on academic websites), which basically counts syllables and sentences length, and we add some other metrics. Basically, the goal is to get the screenplay to read at a 5th grade level, so your eyes fly down the page. So the readability score gives you a top score for really easy words and short sentences, and penalizes you for blocks for action and dialogue with complicated words. See it as a Stupid Score (TM). You want to hit 100% stupid.

Hi, thanks! The relationship canvas is right now extremely superficial. It's basically just a way to lay out folders graphically. This is meant to become a proper mind-map where you can design relationships between things, as well as dependencies, characters drawing conclusions etc. But it's waiting for some other internal changes. So the relationship map right now is literally just a fancy way to show folders and draw lines between them.

@@HollywoodCameraWork Yes sure, I understand, I love how you can see it in snippets or more mind map graphic way. But there´s no way to add those white squares between relationships to establish not only connection but how do they connect? Of course is not crucial though since the main research is not made on the mind map, but would be great to be able to.
