This is a good one! Allan Dwan, the director, began his career in 1914!! Check out his Silver Lode and The River's Edge. One of those most overlooked Hollywood directors.

Yes, Allan Dwan's career started a long time ago but actually even before 1914. His first films, only a reel long were released in May 1911. Perhaps you're citing 1914 because that's when his first feature-length film was released. Feature length films in the U.S. only began to be made in 1912 and even then were relatively rare. And you're absolutely right about SILVER LODE and THE RIVER'S EDGE. I would also cite TENNESSEE'S PARTNER (1955) and SLIGHTLY SCARLET (1956) which were also made around that time. Those were among his best films but he made many, many more that are worth seeing.

@@shoesareverybad Thank you so much for your informative reply. Really appreciate it and learned from it. It is so nice to hear from someone who obviously knows his cinema. I love praising overlooked or somewhat underappreciated directors like Andre de Toth, Dwan, Joseph H. Lewis, and Edgar G. Ulmer. These directors usually worked with very small small budgets and had a knack of turning trash into treasure.

The song was NEVER ALONE. As seen in the credits the music was composed by Edward Al;person Jr. the son of the film's producer.

UNLIKE rest of commentators, this is NOT 100-percent complete, cz the little boy *snake* was NOT punished, which informed to the actor's father was secret agent. In that case, this writing is NOT A grade but B!

Setting animals together for the purpose of killing each other for the entertainment of humans is terrible. Cock fights, dog fights and especially bull fights ought to be outlawed in my opinion. 😮😮😮😮😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
