Hey Devin when you were talking about how your 02 Sensor keeps burning up and throwing a code it reminded me of what I did to fix my 02 Sensor issue. I bought a Heatsink off of Amazon from Innovate Motorsports- “Innovate Motorsports 3729 Heat-Sink Bung Extender HBX-1” and it worked like a charm. Havent trashed an 02 Sensor since. It may be worth the try!! Love the content bro!

Devin if that is the compression tester from harbor freight do not honor those numbers 100% I got about 100 psi in all of my cylinders for my ej255 which I thought was low. You got all the same numbers (which is obviously good) but it would always freak me out that they were a little low.. I used a better compression tester and got 140 on every cylinder which is much better. It has to do with the location of the check valve, Just an FYI

Yeah, I have the exact same cheap compression tester in the UK, it never reads past 100psi..

Hey Devin I hope you see this comment. But try cleaning out the MAF sensor or replacing it. I was having trouble with my car on WOT and trying to build boost too. After just cleaning it, my car came back to life. Wish you guys the best and keep up with the great work!

Regarding the BMW FRM, check the warranty. There has been such an issue with these that they extended warranty way out. Mine had the same issues and they changed it out and reprogrammed it no charge.

Omg I Seriously thought the compression in the first cylinder you tested read 85psi.... I actually shouted Nooooo Gary 🤣. It's the one test you always put off and pray it's not that ☺️, Thankfully all cylinders within 10% rule, so Gary's all good. Always been told anything over 100psi is okay, my car always read between 110-115psi all round, and was fine. Well done bro👊 good catch with the spark plugs👍, I did ask in previous post if the plugs were a step colder than stock as they do need gapped smaller, or else you do tend to get misfires.

I know on those frms if they internally reset themselves 3 times I believe they're cooked. Guy at my last shop did a diag on one for a mini with a parasitic draw. Took him a week but he narrowed it down to the frm

You can have a bad motor with good compression. do a leak-down test to verify the pistons aren't cracked.
