Not only did Abraham listen to God's instruction to sacrifice his son, Abraham continued to listen for God and he heard God say stop, do not harm your son. When we go left because God told us to and it is hard to do, we still need to listen for God's instructions. There was a time I was way too overwhelmed and didn't hear His complete instructions or his next instruction to stop and I ended up in a swamp type life. I praise God for helping me to be able to listen better now. My listening isn't perfect, but much better. My life is so much better for it. I really would hate to see where I would be without my Jesus. ❤

Most people won't even pull over for another person broken down on the road, but The Almighty God of The Universe stepped out of perfection and glory to dwell in the dust of this disgusting planet. He wanted to bridge the gap between us and Him, He wanted to know our suffering, before judging us. If that reason alone is not enough to bow before Jesus Christ, I do not know what is. He first loved us, the unloving. He first humbled Himself for us, the spiteful and proud. He sacrificed everything, to those who spit in His face. What a mighty and awesome God we serve. My husband and I were just talking about that. I think many actually do. But because everyone has phones and people have become so evil, we tend to just call for help for them. I allow the Holy Spirit to give me discernment in these decisions. I had neighbors growing up that used to treat all the kids, but now people sue each other if their child has an allergy. I realize we should fear not, but I am weary of this lost culture and I hope that doesn't mean I am not saved.

@cindytroyer4076, I too have issues with the churches that celebrate/acknowledge these pagan holidays. I currently don't attend any church (physically) because I haven't found a place that doesn't acknowledge/celebrate/participate in some way....even halloween. 😢 GOD put it on my heart about 5 years ago to not even purchase or eat any of the candies/foods that are packaged specifically for these pagan holidays. Symbolically they are an offering to the gods of these holidays. That's just my conviction between me and the LORD. I pray all have a Blessed and healthy Resurrection weekend!! 🙏❤️🙏

I just had a scoffer two days ago that replied on my comment and said Jesus is Satan and I am a Satan worshipper, because of it and also God's name isn't Jesus, but Emanuela, because when He was born they said to call Him that name, so us saying Lord Jesus went on the cross to save us is Satan on the cross and that we will not be raptured off this earth.
