This is a re-release of my December 2022 vlog series, uploaded in one continuous video format for ease of viewing. I stayed in the Royal Suite for 11 nights, as Celebrity Eclipse cruised to the South Pacific islands with stops in Noumea, Mystery Island, Lautoka and Lifou. The Royal Suite is part of Celebrity Cruises’ The Retreat, and aside from the benefit of additional space, came with butler service, concierge service, the premium drinks package, unlimited specialty restaurant dining and more.

I love your channel. Full of great information. As a wheelchair user I was wondering if you have thoughts about the best disability access between cruise companies. I have always cruised princess cruises who seem to be upgrading disability access of late

Partial to Royal…wife is in a manual chair that I push and we’ve had the easiest time getting around Royal’s ships (we’ve been on Ovation, Oasis and Navigator..all 3 were very easy to get around)…Norwegian was more cramped and harder to get around with Terrible elevator access…and Disney was the absolute Worst (at least on Wonder) with Very narrow hallways for chairs and almost inaccessible elevators (VERY TINY)

Hi Rob! Thanks for following along. Honestly it has more to do with the ship than the cruise line. The most modern ships usually conform to the highest standards of accessibility - and Princess’ Sphere Class (Sun and the soon to arrive Star) adhere to these and are excellent for access. Cruise lines usually provide some accessibility info too, even as far as dimensions of doorways and things but it can be hard to find. For the best bet though, always cruise on a ship that was built in the last 5 or so years.
