I attended the taping of this show when the cast of Pete's dragon was on. I won the snake can game and got a ton of toys. Best childhood memory ever!!! Thank you so much for posting this!❤

MEMORY TRIGGER!!! I sat in the live audience for a Los Angeles taping of this show. I was probably 5 or 6 years old. Wow. I remember all of it from 1967 forward.

KTTV 11 was the best Channel back in the early 70’s when I was a kid growing up in LA.

Jay-- thank you so much for this---you really paid tribute to Bob in an amazing way--- he would be so touched ! The end really saddened me... I was actually on the show in New York- I was about 9 years old- maybe 1973 ? It was the episode where the dance/music segment played Elton John's 'Crocodile Rock'-- I will forever be proud to say that I was on "Wonderama" -- thanks again

I met him at play world in Bayshore. I was very young. I don’t remember how old. Now I have to go out to the garage and check the storage to find my album with his autograph on it. Oh how I missed these days. do you remember this exercise exercise, everybody do your exercise. LOL Kids are people too❤😊

The only thing I remember about Wonderama is the song "Kids are people too" sung by Bob, I would sing some of it to my Grandkids when they were smaller lol ..Thx

So sad to hear how Fox threw away all the tapes of Wonderama in the East River. I loved the show in the early 70’s watching from San Pedro California. I loved hearing all the New York kids accents. One of my favorite segments was the “What the heck is it” part. There would be a photo of an unnamed object spinning and floated over the kids in the audience with a voice over in an an Italian accent asking “what the heck is it” and they were asked to identify the object. Anyone remember that segment? Anyway, thanks for the trip down memory lane.
