How do i know when to build heartsteal, goredrinker or stridebreaker. Can you please do an explanatory vid on builds? Im nee to sett and top lane 😅

Sett was my og main when I started League and I kinda want to get back into him. I usually build really standard, with conq and gore/stride into spear/steraks and stuff like that. I feel like that build is good and I do well with it, but I see that you often go Grasp/heartsteel vs nasus and bork/tempo vs some matchups. It looks fun, but I don’t know when I should be going those different SETT ups. When do you recommend heartsteel/grasp or tempo/bork, because sometimes I’ll try heartsteel and it feels miserable having no AD until 2 items, or Bork getting no tankiness, and it seems you can only really get away with those in certain matchups. I also rarely experiment with tempo so idrk when I should use it instead of conq. The default build seems at least decent into most everything

Im not some good player or anything but this is how i choose what to go with: if i plan to fight a lot vs my laner and overall in the game i go conq, you have thr experience to decide when to build stridbreaker or when not to... If i manage to absolutely stomp top i buy hullbreaker asap maybe bork vs tanks and i can obliterate them and chase them.. i tried lethal tempo but i didnt really felt it i rather have cong instead maybe its just my playtyle. I go grasp if i want to scale instead of fighting a lot in lane and overall or if my team comp really needa a frontliner i rather go grasp and get tankyer later .. i can still oneshot with w so its fine

I only do it against Nasus. Heartsteel is bait. You can only make it work by going blade into heartsteel and having a massive snowball lead.

What the fuck.. 4k was my max with the mechanically correct sett build with no potions.. i will definitely try this if my team doesnt int so hard that the game is over at 15 mins

10:40 I don't understand...why would he do that? They have 1 AD, and it's Zed. Wouldn't it have been better to buy a Sterak trial? A tonne of AD at lvl 18 and 2-3k shield?

i don't like to much heartsteel build cuz it takes A LOT of time tow deal 3k damage, different of goredrinker thatu can have that danage to much early

3 melees and 2 AP however Fiddle has to get somewhat in range to land his abilities. I can see why he went Heartsteel this game. But remember lads the only time you go Heartsteel + Titanic Hydra Sett is if the opponent team is majority melee. If the enemy team is 4 range and 1 melee you won't get as many Heartsteel procs. and even then Heartsteel + Titanic Hydra doesn't do that much damage until 40+ mins into a match at that point you might as well play Nasus if plan on "scaling"
