Let brother Asrar Rashid know that he should stop debating people. It's very clear that he's more knowledgeable than all those he's debating, it's very clear that he knows exactly what he's talking about and is standing on the proper understanding of Quaran and Sunnah. He is emerging as not only the foremost scholar in the UK but as the foremost scholar in the entire western world and maybe even more than that. Naturally he is now gathering enemies because he is speaking the truth and Allah has blessed him with the knowledge and the passion and the personality necessary to reach the Ummah and to touch on the topics which are most pressing for us today. I would appreciate if u pass on my message of no longer debating anyone on any subject whatsoever because he has nothing to debate. He speaks the truth. Because he speaks the truth and is very direct and concise with his ideas and his presentation of the evidences from Quaran and Sunnah, those he debates innevetably become frustrated and angry because they realize they have met there better so they begin to panic and start to become argumentative and display behavior unfit of any Muslim especially someone representing the people of knowledge. The back and forth make us look bad to the non Muslims and it proves nothing cuz those of us who are seeking guidance and knowledge identify the truth when we hear it and there's no need to argue with those whom Allah has not rightly guided in terms of this matter or that.

"The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a messenger; messengers before him had indeed passed away." (5:75) "And Muhammad is only a messenger - messengers have already passed away before him. If, then, he dies or is killed, will you turn back upon your heels?" (3:143) The second verse here explains the first one. Both verses are similarly worded, the first referring to Jesus, and the second to the Holy Prophet Muhammad. The Quran’s verdict here is very clear for a truth-seeker. The first verse explicitly states that all prophets before Jesus had died - and all Muslims accept this. In the second verse, the same words are used to state that all prophets before the Holy Prophet Muhammad (may peace and the blessings of Allah be upon him) had died. In fact, since no prophet arose between Jesus and the Holy Prophet, the second verse could only have been revealed specifically to show that Jesus had died. Classical works of Arabic grammar tell us that, owing to the prefix al (the), the word messengers (al-rusul, lit. "the messengers") in the above two verses really means all messenger. All you people who claim to follow the Quran 1st and Sahih Bukhari 2nd are liars. If you read and study the Quran you would realise the 2nd coming of Prophet Easa goes against the narrative of the holy book.

Verse of surah nisaa is actually the biggest proof AGAINST the second coming. Context is important to understand, this is taking place on the day of judgment. Whether tawaffa means to take hold of or to die, Jesus says he doesn’t have knowledge of anything after “tawaffa” happened to him. So if he was taken up alive, he still does not mention ever coming back to earth. If he would have returned to earth, he would have had knowledge of what happened. So tawaffa in this verse clearly means he died. And if it means death here, then it means death in the other verse too. In fact, the Prophet already gave us the correct understanding of this verse to mean death of Jesus when he related himself to him on the day of judgment then recited this verse (Bukhari, book of tafsir, under chapter 5).

What you have is assumptions and God is agaist assumptions. You quys like forces words to mean something else. Since coming of isa is important. God would have mentioned in my verses clearly that we should belief isa when he come back but unfortunately there is none. God mentions in many verses about the hour and how it will occur suddenly clearly but not prophet isa. Are you saying God left that important thing intentionally. All the people following wrong guidance are waiting for a survivor (jews, Christians, hindusim, budhuism, shia, traditional sunni hadiths followers.) Always waiting something yet hour will come suddenly and no one knows its time except God. And we have the ijma' of the scholars and umma on this, your personal reasoning does not count for anything when the scholars are agreed upon it. At around 13:30 or thereabouts, Shaykh Asrar mentions that those who claim Sayyiduna 'Isa, peace be upon him, died a natural death need to deal with the issue that the goal of the enemies of 'Isa, peace be upon him, would have been achieved if he had died a natural death soon after the plots against him. This is not true, however; the goal of the enemies was frustrated, and Allah took him back due to independent factors that just happened to coincide with their plotting. That is part of the source of their illusion that they killed him. According to the report of Sayyiduna Ka'b al-Ahbar -- who was consulted regularly about the traditions of the People of the Book by both Sayyiduna 'Umar and Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas -- when 'Isa, pace be upon him, saw how many were his enemies surrounding him, and how few were his supporters, he prayed to Allah for more followers; Allah replied by announcing that He would now withdraw 'Isa, peace be upon him, to Himself, and send him back to kill the Dajjal. The fact that 'Isa, peace be upon him, was nowhere to be found shortly after his enemies tried to kill him, is part of the reason why they thought they had succeeded in killing him. Such coincidences happen all the time; yes, sometimes even the disbelievers get part of that they want in unexpected ways. What the enemies of 'Isa failed to get is the right to claim that they had succeeded in killing him, since then they could use it to intimidate the final Messenger, peace be upon him, with the threat of killing him, as well. Every Messenger has to die, and they all have enemies who plot to kill them, perhaps plotting right till tey actually do die. When a Messenger dies, then, the enemies get part of what they wanted (the absence of the Messenger from their lives); this is just unavoidable, and hence should not be an issue.

What kind of belief it is that is mentioned with so much ambiguity? Do we have examples of other beliefs that are mentioned like this? The Ayah about Jews and Christians believing in "something" before their death is actually about the Quran. This Ayah is connected to few Ayaat before this Ayah.

All you so-called “Muslims” should ask Allāh to remove the blinders because the Qur’ān says in several mukham (clear) verses that 3issa Ibn-Maryam was taken by Allāh in death and exalted Jesus, peace be upon him, to Himself - which means in rank, status, and honor - not physically. ‎إِذْ قَالَ اللَّهُ يَا عِيسَىٰ إِنِّي مُتَوَفِّيكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَيَّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا “When God said: O Jesus, I will cause thee to die and exalt thee in My presence” (Al-Imrān 3: 55) Here the Qur’ān uses the verb mutawaffi-ka in reference to Jesus, which means ‘I am causing you to die’. The verb mutawaffi-ka is in the causative, it is used again in this manner in the following Verse: ‎قُلْ يَتَوَفَّاكُمْ مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ الَّذِي وُكِّلَ بِكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ “Say, the Angel of Death who has been placed in charge of you shall cause you to die (yatawaffakum).” (32: 11) This is also in the causative and same verb stem. There’s several more examples. Commenting on these Verses, Ibn Abbas says that the significance of mutawaffi-ka is mumitu-ka, i.e. I will cause thee to die (Bukhari 65: v, 12). “The expression “God exalted him unto Himself” in the above verse denotes the elevation of Jesus to the realm of God’s special grace - a blessing in which all prophets partake, as is evident from 19:57, where the verb rafa`nāhu (“We exalted him”) is used with regard to the Prophet Enoch.” -Asad, The Message of the Qur’ān. “And We raised him (Enoch) to an elevated state.” (19: 57) "The Christ, son of Mary, was only a messenger; the messengers before him had indeed passed away." the explanation regarding returning of prophet isa is still not convincing because there is no mentioned in Quran. This returning thing is very important incident so that it should be mentioned clearly in Quran. The only source of returning prophet isa is only from hadith which is questionable. In other hand, the gog and magog is clearly mentioned in Quran as the very good sign from God, but why returning is not mentioned in Quran? That is valid question to ask. Ibn abi Zayd al Qayrawani al maliki , famously known as malik sagheer, recognized by his peers as the consolidater of the maliki mazhab in his time states in his famous work on maliki fiqh, ( usually the 2nd or 3rd book to be read in the malikiyyas syllabus ), in the introductory chapter titled ; the basic tennents of deen which, to believe the contrary of, is innovation and misguidance ( bida and dalala)...that Isa a.s will descend. Ibn abi zayd closes the chapter by stating that everything he has mentioned in his introduction is either established through a qawl of Imam Malik r.a or the known to be the position of his school.. The problem isnt just ajmals opinion on the descent of Isa, which is a clear reflection of his haphazard use of usul, or lack of rather. Take for example his comments on the aqd of nikaah not requiring witnesses, he makes such a big issue out if it, but why?

Nowhere does the Quran state that Jesus is sitting on the right hand side of God or transported into another dimension where time does not exist so that he will return a young man after 2000 years (so far!) NOR does it say Jesus will return to earth. The Sheikh correctly said the Quran says on JUDGEMENT DAY Jesus will be a witness against them, so how can Jesus come prior to judgment day to judge people? If he shows them the error of their ways before Judgment day then this negates Judgement Day testimony. Wafa is always understood and as ‘causing to die’, death for everything except Jesus, why? 16:70It is Allah who creates you and takes your souls at death; and of you there are some who are sent back to a feeble age, so that they know nothing after having known (much): for Allah is All-Knowing, All-Powerful. The following is the correct understanding of the verse: 3:55 “O Jesus! I will cause you to die of natural causes, I will exalt you in honour and I will clear you of the slander of the disbelievers. And I will cause those who truly follow you to dominate those who reject, until the Day of Resurrection. Eventually, all of you will return to Me. Then I will judge among you about that wherein you used to differ.” [Wafaat = Dying of natural causes. Rafa’ = Raising in honor] As for 4:157, the Sheik produces a straw man argument, a false understanding of this verses and it goes downhill after that: 4:157 And for claiming, “We killed the Messiah Jesus son of Mary, God’s Messenger.” They never killed him and never crucified him. But it appeared so to them and the matter remained dubious to them. Those who hold conflicting views on this issue are but confused. They have no real knowledge and they are following mere conjecture. Most certainly, they never killed him. 4:158 Nay, God exalted him in His Sight. (They had plotted thinking that crucifixion was a death of curse. But God raised him in honor. See 3:55). God is Almighty, Wise. The ‘bal’, nay is indeed putting what went on before with what comes after but the Sheik missed the point. The Bible says that any man who claims to be a messenger of Allah and is found to be an imposter should be put to death. They boasted that they had killed Jesus to show that he was an imposter, the whole Quran has them denying messenger after messenger. The Quran negates them putting him to death, they are liars, and says he died a natural death and was RAISED TO HONOUR, above their false accusations. ALLAH gave Jesus the honour the Jews deny. As for denigrating reformists or modernists, the Quran says gain wisdom knowledge: 2:269 He bestows wisdom to whoever wills to attain wisdom (according to His laws). And whoever is granted wisdom has truly been granted a great wealth. And only those who use their intellect remain mindful of what they learn. [Making good use of their faculties helps people attain wisdom. 12:22, 17:36, 28:14] And not to follow the devoid of wisdom rulings/stories of our ancestors AND CERTAINLY NOT ATTRIBUTING LIES TO THE MESSENGER: 43:21 What! Have We given them a Scripture before this to which they are holding fast? 43:22 Nay, but they say, "We found our fathers following a certain religion, and we find our way in their footprints." 43:23 Likewise, whenever We sent before you a warner to any township, its wealthy ones said, "Behold! We have found our forefathers following a certain religion, and we will follow in their footsteps." [Ummah = A community with common beliefs = Those who share a common religion. Mutrifeen = The wealthy = Those given to material possessions = The social and financial elite = Those steeped in luxury = Those who are used to enjoying the fruit of others’ labor = Those who thrive on easy money = Who get wealthy without hard work] 43:24 He said, “What! Even though I bring you better guidance than that you found your ancestors following?" They replied, "We deny that there is any truth in what you are sent with.” 43:25 And so We requited them. Then see the end of the rejecters. 53:23 They are but names that you have invented, you and your ancestors, for which God has revealed no authority. They follow nothing but conjecture and their fantasies. Now the guidance from their Lord has come to them (hence, they have no excuses). [7:71-72]
