You ask why he can't play the game properly and why he feels the need to cheat? It's actually very simple. There are two kinds of people who play multiplayer games. There are those who enjoy the feelinig of improving. Of pitting their time, effort, and skill against other players. They get satisfaction from seeing their hardwork pay off and they embrace the challenge of learning something new and difficult. They become masters of the game through this method and thus earn their title as 'best.' That's YOU! But then there are those who do not relish the challenge. They seek to win. They only want victory because they feel inadequate otherwise. They find joy in being better than others, but don't want to waste time trying to improve themselves to do it. That's why they call anyone who DOES beat them a coward and challenge them to keep fighting...because they live ONLY for the sensation of being BETTER than everyone else. To do this, they turn on cheats and scripts. Even if it's an artificial victory, since they only find joy in standing ontop of other people, they don't mind how boring and underwhelming it is to cheat to win. And that's this guy. He reveals his true weakness by calling his opponents cowards. He can't call them 'bad,' because they outplayed his scripts, so instead he calls them cowards in the hopes they'll stay a while longer until his scripts finally earn him a win. But there in was his greatest failure: For he thought that a CHEAT could EARN anything.

Hey Raven, I love your videos. I wanted to add one more onto that, though. There's a handful of people who play, usually on Dom, Breach, or Events, who like a more casual feel of it and really enjoy the feeling of working together, especially enthusiastic when good gank synergy lines up either for or against themselves. The thrill of the fight! They're a little more rare, usually considered casuals, but they're definitely there. By ganking I mean them and their team on one enemy, vice versa (basically pulling a Faraam lol), and full on showdown between all 8 players in the same vicinity. THAT is the thrill of the fight.

There are more than two kinds of people. I cheat, yeah, but don't have any kicks from it, or even for winning. I just play dominion and breaches with my buddies. I don't like the game, but my friends love it and want to play it more than anything, so I gotta play it with them. I am not some undefeated monster either, an average player can easily beat me, and they did. is it bad to cheat? Well, yeah, ruining other people's fun and such, absolutely hate people who do it just to ruin people's day or those arrogant bastards that just taunt you and make fun of you. In conclusion, as long as my friends have fun, don't care what the others think of me. Makes me a bad person most likely, but hey, feel free to hate me, don't care about anything else but my buddies having fun (Within reasons of course).

The last time I ran into a cheater, I spent the entire duel testing his scripts to make absolutely sure that he was scripting. Afterwards, I reported him and waited close to a week. Never got any feedback. 6 or 7 days later, I went into Dominion and looked for the first "inappropriate" emblem that I found. I reported his emblem just out of curiosity. 3 hours later, I got a message from the Devs thanking me for the report and that "appropriate actions" had been taken against them. The Devs are more concerned about inappropriate emblems than actual cheaters. Let that sink in.

To be fair it's a lot harder to prove cheating, I'm sure there are tons of false reports by people angry they got beat, and it'd take a lot of time to look into every report Meanwhile you can have somebody on staff look through emblems in a second

Yes, cheating reports take longer to review because they have to go through volumes of reports from people who either got lucky, got false reported, and is harder to prove since they can turn it on and off between matches, between swings, etc. Versus looking at a picture for 2 seconds and determining it's inappropriate lol

@@Yobama08 no there is some really powerful scripts now which sucks. He’s just a terrible player. I don’t know if he’s handicap or something, but he is absolutely awful. There’s a Chinese script that can actually detect your stamina instead of parry flash. So it can read charge bashes and everything. It’s so sad that a game that’s on life support still has 💩 bags ruing it because they are so bad at the game and fragile in the mind.

They arent flawless though and can be tricked with certain strategies. Which is why most scripters will asign their scripts to a button on their keyboard so they can turn it on and off whenever they like.

Hey havok I want to say thank you for the awesome content and for giving me the push I needed to start fighting actual players. I played against ai for a long time so I have some bad habits I need to iron out and I’m not very good yet but I have a couple ranked wins under my belt now. I play warden because I see your videos and i see how you are able to take such a simple move set in a hero and make him the most lethal. Also something I learned from your vids is to never take frustration out on an opponent. I do get mad and yell even, but I never take it out on the opponent. I still throw a respectful emote at the start of every round even if I have lost the previous 2 and send a good fight to the opponent.

Zhanxu would actually be a good counter to scripted as he has unpunishable bash. So if the script dodge on orange, then he can’t really punish as you can deflect his incoming attack. Same goes for if the script dodge attack on orange, then it’s a free deflect.

The ironic part is that after years of doing this, the scripter _HAS_ actually learned some things. Granted, being good at those things is a different merit, but they wouldn't have turned the scripts off at some points if they didn't at least have a vague idea of what to do. The doubly ironic part is that if the scripter just believed in their own skill a little bit more and actually put effort without the scripts, they could actually be a decent (and honorable) player.

The HL warden matchup really isn’t as bad as you make it out to be. Even vs characters with dodge attacks HL has true50/50s in heavy hitstun the kick feint gb beats dodge attacks and during heavy hitstun follow up offensive light are undogeable. So not having a dodge attack isn’t the worst thing still most likely HL favoured but surely not as bad as u may think.
