The Bible was compiled from writings that were written between 50 and 150 years after Christ the earliest ones being 50 years after Christ. The gospels were written by the attributed authors or scribed from their teachings. It wasn't until Christianity had spread a bit that they had to put the teachings into a book so people could read it without an apostle there to preach and to avoid misconceptions being preached by people that were not apostles later writings were judged by the earlier texts.

The New testament texts were first written during the entire period between 50 and 150 AD. I don't know all the details, but the gospels were written by Matthew and John disciples of Jesus, Mark a follower of Jesus that worked with Peter the disciple and Luke a gentile follower of Jesus that worked with Paul. The rest of the new testament is made of letters by Paul Peter and John. Nobody can prove they wrote them but it was common knowledge back then.

I'm beginning a study of the interpreters study bible. As far as I know Barrabas was not named Jesus. Pontius Pilate offered to set a prisioner free hoping the people would choose Jesus because Jesus was a healer accused falsely by Pharisees, Barrabas was a murderer but the Pharisees started a chant of free Barrabas so Pilate had to free Barrabas instead of Jesus. Where do you get your information that Barabbas was Jesus? I'd like to study it.

I use the original Hebrew and Greek texts that the many translations of the Bible were translated from. If you google a Bible verse you will see the same thing is said in each translation but there is debate on the best translation. Christianity has different branches of interpretation but so does Islam. Of course I label Jesus as God I am a Christian I know that Jesus is God because the Bible tells me so and the Bible makes sense. I am studying the Qur'an, but so far I'm still Christian.

Upon the time this was happening, Judah went to the place of meeting and found no one. When the Romans showed up, they took him for being Isa(a.s.) for they were similar in appearance.

Judah fit the description he gave to the King of the Romans. Judah never claimed to be the Messiah. Yet I believe what happened, was a punishment unto Judah for betraying Isa(a.s.). So they crucified and killed Judah and thought that it was Isa(a.s.). Hence why Allah(SWT) says in the Qur'an that He(SWT) only made it appear to them as if they killed the Messiah. For Isa(a.s.) was never crucified nor killed. Yet Allah(SWT) did take his Soul and Physical Body unto Heaven. - Qur'an. Wa Allahu 3alam.

The devil is allowed to test our faith so we can have the opportunity to be saved by being faithful despite opposition from the devil. I will watch this video when I have some more time to myself, InshAllah. Just commenting on the title - return of Nabi Essa. Where does the Noble Quran say that Nabi Essa will return? Nabi Essa son of Virgin Maryam ascended to the heavens by Allah's command. This has been categorically stated by Allah in His Final Message. But there's not a single Verse that mentions nor hints on his return. We should not be jumping on such presumptions of which Allah has given us no warrant.

Abram was promised to become a great nation but before that he was commanded to leave his old life, identity, and family in faithful obedience. The Ahadith of the Prophet(SAWS) says the he will descend in Mecca at Masjid Al Haram during the event of the emergence of Imam Muhammad Al Mahdi(a.s.). And he(SAWS) further states in the ahadith in question form "How will you be when the Son of Mary descends?" Obviously as a collective Ummah we must all migrate to Medina and Mecca and live out our lives there and wait for both Imam Al Mahdi and Isa(a.s.). It's Prophecy

Jesus didn't come to revive the Torah. He came to fulfil the Torah. Jesus said in [Matthew 5:17] "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfil them. Jesus name in Hebrew was Yeshua. Islam calls Him Isa, Arabic for Jesus? because Muhammad heard of Jesus from a monk that called Jesus Jesus? Christ means saviour/messiah. Jesus came to fulfil the law and prophets of the Torah then Jews split into Christian Jews and Non Christian Jews. non-Christian Jews are actually gentile converts to Christian Judaism, or non-Christian Jews converted to Christian Judaism.
