This certainly explains a LOT, and I am not the least bit surprised. My husband has been saying for years that most of these record labels bilk their artists, and practically FORCE these young, naive kids into debt by showering them with fancy cars, clothes, and mansions (which they DON'T really own)...and they have to PAY ALL OF IT BACK to their promoters by working them to the bone, making them travel all over the word, performing to the point of exhaustion. These kids don't know any better. They're just that... kids...they want their lives to be different... they want their circumstances to be better. They were blessed with a natural talent and a desire to do great things for the benefit of themselves, their families and their communities...but the "promised" fame and fortune, clouds their judgment and can often lead them to make bad decisions. I'm just glad that they are all PHYSICALLY okay and in good health!

Didn't they learn what Lou Perlman and his contracts were like by NSYNC or Backstreet Boys? I mean before Perlman rounded O-Town up he had already gotten sued by his former boy band groups so I don't know why they thought things would be any different with them, especially since their lawyers warned them the contracts mean they'll make no money.

Nice. They took my advice. Shortly before they came back I sent them all an e-mail stating "now is the time for the return of the boy bands" and that It could get bigger then it was if they came back now. I said "I wouldn't wait to long to come back or you might miss the wave that's going around" and bam they took it. I spoke with them about coming back to. I'm also in the music business and knew if they cam back NOW it could be big now AND without the strings of that nasty Lou Perlman.
