I just love Arthur Conan Doyle books.. Sherlock Holmes adventures are one of mi favoritos ..loved 👂 this one, the english is so clear with this voice and easy to understand (perfect for Spanish speakers learning English like me jejej)..the way he changes his voice for feature each characters, it's amazing..love his voice.. thanks. 😃😃

love this version the voice actor for this is the best. I use to record voice actors for audio books for the library of Congress and you could always tell when the talent was reading a book for just a paycheck or if they truly wanted to read a book by the amount of feeling they put into it. some books where so boring I feel asleep while recording them and the talent had to wake me up when they made a mistake. that was one thing you had to have was good ears to be able to pick the smallest mistakes or say stomach noise and farts. also some would start cursing up a storm if they made a mistake. this was before everything was digital and I used a reel to reel. the only digital area of the place was in a high security area because they had the original Nixon tapes and they where being digitized and saved on mini disc. and the mini disc was a great device that was ahead of its time. it worked and it was designed very well.

Love these stories, but DANG, I wish I knew if Sir Arthur was still living when christie was swindling his ideas! In the Poirot series, this episode is called *The Veiled Lady* . The thieving cow even had Poirot saying much the same thing Holmes said, about how the criminal world would have had an advantage if he was on their side, or something to the effect. And the burglary. Not to mention the blackmail . Of course she had to change a few points in order to keep free of PLAGIARISM charges. On the other hand, if the Doyle estate had sent her a warning letter , Monsieur Poirot would have been spared a life of unloved service!
