The Return of Steam to the East Kent Railway

After an absence of over ten years, steam has made a return to the East Kent Railway in the form of Achilles. On a dull overcast day, Achilles and 08676 were doing the honors.
The railway is celebrating its' 30th year and will be running steam on a few selected days.

Fantastic video, I went to the east Kent railway the day before they where running the tank enginge completely oblivious untill I was already there.

Many thanks for the comment. It's a shame you missed it. Hopefully they will run steam again this year. I also hear that they have acquired a class 142 Pacer unit.
