Oh Absalom! “Absalom hanging in the tree with no story” for Judgment, his lost Eternity with King Jesus, David’s LORD, the people’s LORD Jesus. Standin’ in the Gate, what will be the story or no story for each one of us! Absalom in the gate once, no story in the end. King David returns, trouble on the horizon, brought over Jordan. King David, Absalom, Oh Absalom my son. King David, not the same King David. He mourns as a father. But, he is “stitching together in his mind, Israel and Judah”.
