This song makes the movie come off like it's going to be a dark movie instead of the horror comedy it is.

I think the creepiness contrasted by the fact that it is walk like an Egyptian by the chipmunks is enough to communicate that

actually what Frank was talking about the Movie night of the Living Dead was indeed Based on a True story Except it was changed a chemical was spilled on corpses in a morgue and yes the chemical made them move and jump around like they were having seizures but that's all that happened they never came to life and tried to eat people that part was made up in the movie

I knoooooow. The song made it sound like its all fun times and comedy. But it made me feel uneasy and anxious, giving me a false sense of security. If this was the original opening, I would for real be waking up in a cold sweat. Jesus!

This was genuinely creepy compared to the original. The scene shows us the result of the Trioxin leak, while the music plays over. The music which has almost happy vocal feel contains a darker, lower music track. Here, the deep bell tolls, representing the end coming near.

I have been watching this every year since it came out as a 4th of July Tradition... I am soooo glad they didn't use this alternative!!! Just the music made it extra scary just the way it did... With all of the sounds of each scene while the music played. I didn't want to even go through this cause it didn't match the mood of it. On that note I appreciate this scene... Because their previews here from back in the day they didn't post the original beginning and it's the part that makes me feel creepy ... Cause the Thriller is none stop after that.. 2022

@JaymeSplendid6 жыл бұрын
Lloyd Dobbler? Dude, this movies soundtrack is one of BEST soundtracks ever! Tho the DVD version for whatever reason took out the Damned song "Dr. Death" All the tracks have some correlation with what's going on at that moment. Roky Erickson song"Burn the flames" as Frank the zombie decides to kill himself by climbing into the crematorium is one of my all time favorite scene in horror. The scene itself is dark, emotionally complex on many levels and beats the shit out of the viewer. Then add the song to that scene just cranks the whole experience to 11! The Cramps 'Surfing Dead' when they are fortifying the funeral home, The Tall boys 'Take a walk' when they are running from the zombies just to name a few.
