That was SO good! The first kill scene stunned me, it was fucking brutal. The audio in this entire thing is horrific: the music, the cries, the screams. The ending is wonderful too! Super tense. The animation is also really great. Glad to see Kyle as an official animator! One thing that stuck with me is the reveal that TVA and Billy were victims as well. I always thought they were just kinda...there. and one final FINAL thing is I am very happy to see the witch sheep get some screen time! she was SCARY in the bedroom scene.

The witch sheep scared the shit out of me. She isn’t manic and giggly like the pumpkin rabbit, who’s horror comes from his sadism towards killing and mauling children. Witch sheep is quiet and apathetic, uncaring and cruel. She kills quietly, aids in getting the children killed by the bloody hands of her husband, she may not usually be the one who actually kills ( the cat with black stripes and orange fur being an off screen kill done by her is an exception ) but she’s no less evil. She doesn’t do this out of being forced by an evil man, she’s just as uncaring, just as cruel, she’s just quieter about it… Really wonderful work, Walten. Such a great movie.

Brilliant and masterfully done. A sequel that defys expectations despite what we know before. We know whats gonna happen but its been amped up and twisted in such a way that made it action packed and terrifying. I think taking it into the direction of kids fighting these 2 was a masterful choice and I felt like really gave character to this world. The new designs too are great showing how witherred they've become. If the first one was the way the children saw the world. This is how I think it actually looks. That ending is heart wrenching too. I wasn't expecting a good ending but defying all expectations. I was really happy to see a good ending to those poor kids in a way that actually made sense. While this may not be as scary as the first Mysterious House. It sure is a guttural yet beautiful take on what the original did. Lovely work to the team. Ill be crying happy tears for Tammy and Ducky now!

Everything about this was pure cinematography at its finest. The first kill was gnarly, and the references to the past children (most notably Duckie and Tammy) were golden. The animation was on the right level of creepy let alone the voice acting and ESPECIALLY behaviors for both Witch Sheep and Pumpkin Rabbit. Stellar episode through and through!

Although I have to say while the survivors being a canine and bird as a parallel to Tammy and Ducky was really creative, the fact that Jay survived unscathed while her friends were killed and maimed makes me furious considering she was the one who brought them all there. I digress, though, due to the fact that everything else in this piece was beautiful, articulate and extremely horrifying. Tammy's body strung up as a scarecrow with a bag over her head almost genuinely made me sick. Ducky's cameo was heartbreaking, it's clear he's been tormented and pained for so many years. My favorite part, though, was the ending. Something about seeing the shot of the two dead friends at the end got me extremely emotional and sent chills down my spine. Left there undiscovered, fading memories as a result of someone else's total depravity. I know the chances are slim, but I'd love to see those two in some kind of follow-up animation, even as a brief appearance. Their lack of vindication was startlingly real. Thanks for making this Halloween truly terrifying, Martin, and here's to hopefully many more!

Given how Ducky and Tammy were the most recent kills prior to this incident his soul may still have had some form of desire or ability to move freely around the house. I believe Ducky was "helping" to lure the child to his death.

I absolutely adore the art style of this video. The way real images are edited and collaged together to make backgrounds and textures is so unique, and def adds to the uncanniness of everything. I also think it was a great choice to make the children characters have beady eyes and expressionless faces. it allows the viewer to project their own emotions onto them. One thing that did take away from the video though is the way sometimes the audio of background noise (like the tv) is so loud and overlaps the characters talking. and some might say it could just have subtitles added later, but I feel like that would take me out of the immersion, and I don't like having to turn my audio up and down in one video. (of course add subtitles anyway though, for hard of hearing folks) Also I'm sorry but I just didn't like the voice of the sheep character, its so normal sounding so scenes like 15:39 that are meant to be ominous come off as goofy. in my opinion it would've been better if her voice was edited in some way to make it seem more robotic. nothing over the top. those are just nitpicks though and this vid is overall great

It sounds creepy due to age and the technology of the time. God the threat of this one feels so intense and visceral. Like, in the main series the main force of violence we have is Bon. And he’s so much more methodical about it. This is just straight terror all the way through
