I’ve never been the type to get too emotional about a “celebrity” or musician passing, but every time I see videos of the rev I instantly get sad. I met him a couple times but maybe it takes me back to that era? I was 19 when he passed and I had been following them for years at that point so maybe it brings back memories of those days and being a young punk kid going to shows with my friends. Dont really know what I’m trying to say but there’s always this little hope of him emerging from the woods crowned as the knife master. #foREVer

Like most famous drummers, he endorsed Sabian and used their cymbals live and in videos. In the studio, he used a variety of different cymbal brands. He didn’t endorse Sabian until a few years after this show.
