It's not disliking PG Tips, it's just preferring Twinings. I think that was what we were saying. I'm loathed to go back and watch me to find out for sure. 🤣

I find Twinings bitter from the first sip. It just reminds me of hotels and the rush of having a tea for the sake of before check out. With PG tips, I feel you can sip for longer and enjoy a cup of tea for longer.

I know exactly what you mean with PG Tips, it really does improve as you get through the cup. However it does lack a bit at the start. The bitter thing we didn't find extreme, but that may be down to us being male. Research has shown women have better taste receptors, so pick up bitterness easier.

We've talked recently about the change from PG Tips pyramid teabags to the "new and improved flat bag." It's cost cutting and lacks so much, so yes, the shape of a bag does affect the taste.
