I think editing the videos together into one longer version is a good idea since the topic is a bigger one and then all the information would be available in one place. Only if You happen to have the time, of course. I know, I would probably watch it again since there are interesting tidbits in here that I wasn't aware of.

Oh I anticipated that! Once I release the third part I’ll put out the longer video, if I remember correctly it runs like 30 or 35 minutes long or something along those lines.

@Important History prehaps compare how much bigger she was to warships of the time .imagine if America jumped from the Essex class carrier to the uss enterprise and you will get a sense of scale .the battle of the Denmark straight has some of the luckiest events in naval history .Holland force was far superior (2 capital ships and 3 cruisers against 1 capital ship and 1 crusier) but due to pow guns jamming and the luckiest shot in naval history the Germans prevailed .keep up the good work

Some of the worst capital ships ever as originally built.

As a task group they could have been effective. Furious with her two huge guns would have a very slow rate of fire but if she hits any other ship it would cause maximum damage. No ship in the world had armor against those 18” guns. The other two sisters with four 15” guns each would be firing much faster.

Good video btw. I wonder what would have happen if germany had put more efforts into their Pacific holdings with fortified bases and harbors and the German Pacfic Squadron with BattleCruisers and a few Uboats. where they could have put up more of a fight and divided the royal navy and made it a bit easier for the German fleet to face the home fleet. The idea of putting part 1 and 2 together would be a good in the future when you have the free time. (Yes I know all that logistics for Germany would have been difficult but not impossible if they had been working on it at a earlier date like from the 1880s and onwards. But eh.)

Just going off the top of my head, there were plans to replace some of the ships of the Pacific Squadron. I believe Goeben was supposed to be the flagship but was caught up with patrols in the Mediterranean. I don't believe it would have diverted enough British resources to reduce the strength of the Grand Fleet substantially because I'm sure the Japanese could have dealt with whatever squadron the Germans would have in the Pacific. But, with those improved bases it would have been interesting to see what the Japanese might make of them in the interwar years and into the Second World War.

@@ImportantNavalHistory you make a good point there with the Japanese angle which I didn't think of. A fleet action between the German navy and Imperial Japanese one would have been interesting especially if the Goeben had been there to lend a longer range heavier punch and if the Germans could have maneuver the jappos into a spot where U-boats if any had been able to be deployed overseas could have actual played a useful partake ambushing the Japanese fleet in a narrow channel between islands. (I know early WW1 uboats weren't fleet boats like later in ww1 would be or in ww2. But they would have made a nifty harbor defense asset considering naval aviation and aerial bombing didn't really exist at the time. So the Japanese or British would have had to deal with that in a invasion. Anyways this is a speculation but would make a neat alternative History fiction short story or two.

Full length videos tend have more continuity for viewers. Some may not have that much continuous time though. It's kind of a catch-22.

Maybe edit them together in a longer form version when you have the time, if it’s down the road sometime, so be it. Sometimes when creating, putting it on the shelf for a while helps with perspective. Personally I sometimes enjoy revisiting something at a later date because if I think about it for a while and still find myself wanting to do it, I approach with fresh perspective and renewed passion, but that’s me. Do what feels right to you. If you make it, I’ll watch…whenever

Like the Graf spee when you made that video, but to a lesser extent, these ships also feel like super pre dreadnoughts.

I think you should do what you have time to do, and/or what you feel moved to do. (I do have a minor request. could you see your way clear to forgoing the use of the words "now" and "so" for a while? just me being an a-hole)

I think you have a fair point. I will make an emphasis to stop using so many filler words. You might have to endure for awhile though because I have content that's ready to go from about a month ago. This one being one of those.
