Fun fact, that $37 million is just estimate that people make while they are still doing the calculation and BLACKPINK still on their World Tour. After their World Tour ended on February 2020, it is already been confirmed that their World Tour grossed more than $56 million. Unluckily, BLACKPINK don't get enough credits for their participation in the songwriting of their songs. This a fact. For example, Jennie admitted that she wrote Stay in one of the behind the scene video that I found on Twitter. I think that it is clip of one of the episode of Jennie Solo Diary. This video have English subtitle. In this behind the scene video, Jennie reveal the reason why she felt very emotional whenever they performed Stay live is that she is the songwriter. Jennie literally cried when performing Stay live. I also found out that after they release As If Your Last, they have an interview. During that interview, Lisa admitted that she wrote the rap verse for As If It Is Your Last. She even said that it is longer than she expected it to be. This interview was all over the news in South Korea. During an interview, Tushar Apte one of the producer who work on the BLACKPINK's song Love To Hate Me reveal that Danny Chung and Lisa work together to write the rap verse for Love To Hate Me. However, they rarely got their credits for their work because YG didn't put their names on the credit list where it should be. However, it does seem like YG recently realize their mistakes. 😃

Kim Jennie is a producer, song writer, can rap, sings, dances, one of the most succesful soloist in sokor, a fashion icon, speaks more than 3 languages ( korean, english, japanese, and french), global ambassador, and a sold out queen. Kim Jisoo is a song writer, fashion icon, global ambassador, can sing, raps, dances, actress (debuted in producers kdrama), a visual queen and sold out queen. Park Roseanne, also known as Rosé is a song writer, producer (not sure), sings, raps, dances, one of the most succesfull soloist in sokor, global ambassador, fashion icon, and a sold out queen. Lalisa Manoban is song writer, fashion jury and icon, sold out queen, speaks almost 5 languages (thai, korean, english, japanese and chinese), sings, raps, dances, and a dance mentor (youth with you season 2 and 3) tbh, there's more to say about this girls and they didn't lie when they said: *blackpink is the revolution*

@@TheGadFamily when jennie made that comment she knew what was going on they couldnt talk about it naturally As if its your last came out june 22nd 2017 they were filming blackpink house the rest of that year basically after that the teasers for blackpink house dropped in dec 2017 and the show debuted in jan 2018 the last episode was just before du-du-du-du was released. So they were filming blackpink house and the modeling/photo shoots but also they were in the studio sessions for du-du-du-du and the b slides that probably is at least several months of work the girls have a big say in the songs they release there not just chosen for them and then you got them doing there exercise daily or bi-weekly routine and probably time in the dance studio both for the new music but also to keep yourself at the top of your game.

BlackPink have/had A LOT of things in their contract: NO Plastic Surgery, NO Tattoos, NO Smoking, NO Driving, NO Clubbing, NO Drinking, NO Dating... I might have missed something 🤣. A Number of these have loosened after about 3+ yrs... Mainly the clubs, drinking, and Jennie has her Drivers License. But those are still kept to a minimum. I think, considering I don't speak Korean, that YG wanted the girls to be "natural"... ie No plastic surgery or tattoos. And that his statment that he wanted them to "look pretty too" MAY HAVE been based on that standard. I say "may have", because YG is a little bit of a dick so who really knows.

Agencies put together girls to see their teamwork and potential to be in a group together. It wasn't always the 4 of them. There are a lot of girls who trained with blackpink. Those 5 were in the finalization of forming YG's upcoming girl group but like every other company, they let girls go that doesn't fit the group that they envisioned. At the end, YG decided to go to only debut the 4 members. Pink Punk hasn't debuted. They were just a known group of girl trainees in YG at that time. YG is a big company. So alot of netizens are curious abt their trainees. That's why these 9 girls are already known before they even debuted. So the copy and paste and deal with 2ne1 .... YG entertainment flat out said that 2ne1 was created as an ‘ugly girl group’ mostly because they were talented. And YG had huge plans for them (“I am the Best” was actually used in a Microsoft ad)... but sadly there was a lot of misconceptions /rumors going around about a few of the members and it proceeded to cause the youngest (Minzy) to leave and not re-up her contract. Then there was a drug related scandal with one of the other gals (BomBom), which was a rumor/ lie and when all was said and done they broke up the girls with their separate ways. Though to this day l ‘Blackjack’ they are the still the queens of Kpop. Plus there have been mentions that they might be coming back to release a new song soon. And because of the scandals, YG wanted to continue on with a new group that could live up to being a new 2ne1 but this time more pretty and be under stricter rules/regulations. Dring the selection of them talking about the year break they had or the hiatus. I really was wanting to add on to what he was saying because not everything he was saying that is completely correct or at least the full story. Because during this time frame that break they had YG entertainment was dealing two major controversial including YG head guy. It was to the point a lot of Koreans were boycotting YG. Which was putting a damper on BLACKPINK. Also it’s more or less that YG has been saying they’d rather have quality than quantity.
