This is the video that made me finally put aside the money for a handheld emulation device. My RG350 is still going strong three years later and running off the Adam Image. The membranes for both the d-pad and face buttons have torn from wear and tear, but I managed to "fix" them with little dabs of aquarium sealant. I keep thinking I'd like to upgrade to a more recent Anbernic product, but with how well my old RG350 is still doing, there's really no reason. (Plus I'm too poor to throw my money around any more than I have...) Thank you for this video. If I hadn't come across it, I would never have come across my favorite emulation device.

There’s 2 things I would’ve liked to see in this video that I need to know before considering any device like this. 1. Do games run at proper full speed compared to original hardware? (And note that I’m not referring to games that obviously have performance issues, I mean for just any game that seems to run fine, like on GBA or SNES for example, is it actually running slightly faster or slower compared to original hardware. Of course it depends on which emulator’s being used, but I would still want to know). 2. How is GBA pixel scaling handled? Preferably with a side-by-side with original hardware for reference.

The best portable emulation device I’ve ever used is the shield portable. That thing had no issues playing any N64 game I threw at it. Not sure why newer devices seem to have difficulty with the platform. The only real downside to the shield was it’s size, as it was quite bulky.

PSP old now though, and the screen garbage compared to modern IPS displays, also this emulates older systems better at more consistent framerates. Only advantage of PSP is for playing PSP games.

PSP hasn't been particularly good for emulation for years now, can't do SNES properly for a start and has a poor screen, sub standard dpad and a terrible analog nub. Pretty good if you're broke though as they're so cheap and reasonably well built.

Can you link me how to install CFW on the PSP with NO risk of bricking the system?

Nice video. You have a very good voice for this and you address subscribing in a very good way. Good information. Well done!

I made this when I had under 100 subs. You need over 1k to get partnered to be able to place ads and that's after you wait through the application process. When I made this (and for the first 300k views), I had no affiliate links or ads on the video.
