I'm glad that you found this machine relatively easy to follow. That was one of my major concerns about it, since it was so complex. Your machines are more and more compact each time, if you continue like that RGM#30 will create a black hole. Seriously, this is your best machine ever =D I like the trick at 0:57 (I've no idea how it works), the cup trick, and 1:00-1:08 when all the tracks moving to create a long track for the red ball ! It's fun how almost everything is a multi-use element !
@jackofallspades988 жыл бұрын
If you'd like, there is a slow motion version of that trick at 2:16. It might take a couple times to see it, because it still happens pretty quickly, but it does show you everything you need to know. I'm also very happy with how the three tracks lining up turned out. I think it's cool how it's like a sequence of each one moving into place one after the other, each one in a slightly different way.

this is AMAZING, MASSIVE etc.etc.etc. This is like that you try to put all the things that you have and you kept all the thing on the table beyond the limit. I don't know that if you cleaning the room and this machine is there then you remove all the stuffs frome the table and after cleaning you kept all the stuff in its position which is difficult to do for this machine especially. I like all the slow motion moves especially the two marble roll which stands the wooden plank at 90 degree and the gear moving which was awsome. You use the many amount of track beyond the limit. I also like the cup trick in which the billiard ball fall on the cup then cup fall down and then ball come out and follows the path which was incredible. But the ending was confusing the rotating wheel. But the screenlink was awsome then the one shot film. That after 50+ fails you done a lot. Man you are awsome. But nice concept and best of luck for the future projects.

Nice. I love all the intricacies. The big car with the track on it is somehow particularly memorable. Both this and the South America machine show a lot of multiple-use pieces, which I like. I've just started building another machine, and I'm remembering how long it takes. It took me the greater part of an hour to attach two wood blocks to the handle of my rotating severed arm. Now to figure out how to turn the crank...
@jackofallspades988 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I think I know why that part is the most memorable. I think it's because it seems as if there is no way that track could really move anywhere, but then all of a sudden, it moves further than any other track in the entire machine. This gives it a feeling of unexpectedness, which is why it sticks out to people. Also, it's great to hear you're making another machine! Your first one was incredible!
@ArielLlama8 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Don't hold your breath, though. Right now I'm working in 1-hour segments, and that seems to be about enough time to cut and screw together two pieces of wood.

@ajdrgm1008 жыл бұрын
Amazing pathway work with the gear section as well as the multi use of it (it kind of reminded me of the 3DS machine i made, with pathways being a key element.) Astounding compactness as well! I also love the weighted mechanism to make the ball do a sort of U-Turn, that was class. LOVED it!!

Fantastic machine as always :D! Even though you've shown these tricks multiple times through the live stream and Ismt chat, I still find them to be amazing no matter how many times I watch them. The amount of multi-use elements in your machines is insane though. It honestly looks like there's never a second where a track isn't moving in some way xD. Anyways, great job Lyle! Also that spinning gear track is without a doubt my new favorite machine trick (I would make a variation of it but I don't have k'nex gears D: )

I love using that push axle technique at 0:47
@jackofallspades988 жыл бұрын
I think the cooler technique is how I was able to attach it to the Hot Wheels track. A red connector with 3 short green rods. The middle one is pushed through the hole, and the other two grip the sides. Nice little design that I had to come up with just for that trick.

With every machine, I always think that you would never be able to shove more multi-use elements and complexity onto that small table. Well, once again I am happy to say that I have been proven wrong. Every trick by itself was amazing, but what really surprises me is how you get to put it all together into that small area and make it work perfectly.
@jackofallspades988 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! The craziest thing of all is that so far I've continued to get better. Even since the SB50 Machine, the level of complexity has improved drastically. So who knows what the next machine will look like!?

This is definitely your best machine yet. It was so complex, but still wasn't that hard to follow and everything was so compacted and chaotic. Question: Did it ever fail at the last or second to last step? If that did happen that would be terrible.
@jackofallspades988 жыл бұрын
I'm so glad you found this relatively easy to follow, despite being so chaotic and complex. I think being able to understand it definitely adds to the appreciation of this machine. And to answer you question, yes. At 5:07 you can see one of the more frustrating fails I had, which was even worse because it was so ridiculous.

Dang I'd already seen so much of this machine yet I'm still in awe at the tricks!!! I think this tops 6SMIO for me, but barely. I loved every single trick in this machine! My favorites were the sequence with the car with the track on it in the back that was pulled by the train and dropped onto the lever, rolling into the pocket underneath. The falling cup trick was also quick and satisfying... Oh and the K'NEX gear trick and the wooden board trick and really everything here. XD Oh and I can't believe you ended this machine with ANOTHER wheel XD That's right, I read ALL those little spokes on that wheel lol.
@jackofallspades988 жыл бұрын
YES!!! Someone else agrees that this is better than 6SMIO! 😋 I'm not surprised that people are really liking the K'nex car that gets lowered down into the opening underneath. That is a trick unlike any that I've ever seen before, and I really like how it turned out. You also mentioned the cup trick, which is surprisingly one of my favorite parts of this machine. It was never added for complexity, but rather because it looks cool. So I'm glad you liked it just as much as some of the more complex elements. Oh, and I'm glad SOMEONE read all those wheel slices. I was hoping to see a comment like that sooner or later. 😄

excellent job. subscribing to this channel to for the great content and to support a Mythical beast . I have a question how you store the different machines? or do you break it up to pieces?
@jackofallspades988 жыл бұрын
Once I make a machine, I don't have any reason to keep it together once I have the video of it. Once the final video is posted on KZbin, I take it all apart and store my materials on various shelves, bins, drawers, etc. That way, they can be reused and I don't have to keep buying new materials for every machine. It may sound weird, but the art of chain reactions is one of the few art forms where you can only make one thing at a time and you have to essentially destroy every previous project. Anyway, thank you for the nice comment! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
