Forbes Town is kinda like a modern Baguio Session Rd where you have two sidewalks filled with restaurants and the like on both sides while taking in the character of the street as you walk the circuit with a rotunda at the end. Of course this ones flat instead of uphill/downhill.

Hey Manila Girl my dear friend, Forbes Town BGC is awesome. When I was in Manila, me and my friends went through some of BGC. It's very beautiful, clean, but super expensive. We at a few of the restaurants there. I definitely love the huge mall there. I have notice now , the abundance of food trucks, which is good for those who want a quick bite to eat. BGC is not a city by itself. The city is Taguig. It’s a private entity that’s why it’s clean , orderly, and well maintained. It’s paid for by the residents and businesses. These stores and restaurants pay at least 300K pesos each month.

I didn’t see many kids or older people. I see most of them as under 40. This place seem to be a favourite place for those who are dating, it is a huge food mall. Very different from all your other videos that show what reality is like… the dark and narrow alleyways, the crowded wet markets, the people living at the edge of polluted creeks, etc. I do appreciate your effort in showing the contrast - the privileged and the struggling. I live here in Forbestown now and it is very comparable to Tribeca in Manhattan, or Brickell, in Miami Only about half as expensive. Pretty cool place, and far nicer than most of Makati, that I've seen.😎

How can you talk about, or even brag about the rich people in the Philippines, when 90% of people live below the poverty line, I'm tired of hearing about rich people and how good they have it, but yet the government don't give a damn about hard working poor people! Must learn to share the wealth, it's enough money to go around for every citizen.

I visited the Philippines last year and went to Manila, Cebu, El Nido etc. One thing I thought was why do you bother painting zebra crossings on the road? In Australia they are safe crossing areas where a car must stop for you. In Manila, everybody drives straight through them and they are very dangerous. Tourists need to learn that fast!

It’s primarily because the Philippines is very car centric, thus most car owners think that they are more entitled to the road. It’s different in bgc tho where the pedestrian lanes are enforced since most residents in the areas are wealthier than the average filipino.

@@1cho456 SO TRUE, IN BGC, walking around as a turista from America, I felt BGC was actually VERY disciplined with their traffic, compared to my Seattle! Na linis doon.
