Regarding the opening scene: as I recall, the floor of the kitchen was covered in linoleum, which I've seen rated anywhere from "moderately combustible" to "highly flammable and catches fire easily" (being made of materials like oil and wood dusts).

@@Gle0 I guess he means that Simon is a part of a risk group for corona and Tom has been isolating himself for a week to make sure that he doesn't pass anything on to Simon. As for Simon's illness i don't know that much but i know that he's had a few health issues before.

I can't remember now if it was Simon who mentioned it in a stream that they had (or were going to?) film this, but Tom had to play it safe (ie definitely not the pub) for like the week before to avoid getting and passing the coronavirus to Simon. I think Lewis mentioned it somewhere too (a triforce episode?) that they obviously want to preserve Simon and his health as best they can - that's why he hasn't been streaming or recording videos much with other people during the whole pandemic. And yes, Simon's had health issues going back at least to circa 2015 (I remember because that's when I started getting chronically ill myself) when he wasn't in videos for ages. I don't know that he's confirmed what those are specifically, but it just makes sense for him to play it safe with things as they are.

@55:00 There is actually a clue to the final ending. The shots that the dad got in darts changes, revealing no one actually played. It plays a clip of the ex-boyfriend pulling 3 center ace dart shots, instead of what minigame had you shoot. This is a cool series! I hope they play future stories as well.

Χάρων χ ≠ κ In Ancient Greek, χ was pronounced like k followed by h, as opposed to the kh in "Khan." In the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) the Ancient usage of χ is transcribed as /kʰ/, whereas kh as in "Khan" is, somewhat confusingly, /x/. /kʰ/, /x/, and /ks/ (as in the sound of the English letter "x" such as in "exit") have all been associated with χ at some place & time in the Greek language which has unfortunately led to modern confusion between correct association between the orthographics and phonemes. The spelling "Charon" is unfortunate because most English speakers want to pronounce ch as /tʃ/ (as in "chip") whereas others try to correct this to /k/ or even /x/ (as we saw in the video. The spelling Kharon eliminates the former possibility, but reinforces the latter two. The only good solution is to spell the name Kʰaron, but at that point we might as well just use full IPA, /kʰaron/ (which requires the slashes and eliminates the capitalization. But, as most people do not know IPA, this won't fix the problem. Though the sound of χ is more apparent, the pronunciation of /a/, /r/, and /o/ is not immediately apparent to those who have never used IPA (e.g., many people pronounce /r/ as /ɹ/). Luckily, in English we do not differentiate between /k/ and /kʰ/, so using Karon would lead to the most appropriate initial sound (though the rest would likely be mispronounced in the same way Chauncey did-the a should be as in "father," the r trilled as in Romance languages, and the o as "bone"). Hope these pedantic little comment was interesting to someone 😅

It's one of those endings that seems superficially deep for a few seconds, but quickly unravels most of the game in my opinion. It feels a lot more like the twist came last in spite of the events rather than the events subtly leading to the twist. Least that's how I felt. Looking forward to seeing Tom and Chauncy finish for their reaction to it all.
