I actually bought the burnt titanium and after about a year in the pocket, it's pretty scratched up with most the burnt look wiped off. Also, the screws tend to back themselves out over time I'd suggest putting some Loctite on them. I've been happy with the purchase overall as I don't baby it at all.

I've had my CF Ridge for about 2 years at this point ... not a single blemish on it. The CF one's stay looking brand new ... the aluminum and Ti one's get all kinds of scratched-up just being in your pocket. Paying an extra $30 for CF is totally worth it.

I’ve seen a handful of videos like this. I haven’t seen anyone use the cash strap with a single fold of the bills. It over hangs the wallet width a little bit, but it makes it slimmer, and allows more bills to fit. That’s how I use it. Love the wallet!

Pack this wallet with 10 cards (some with embossed/raised account numbers) try to access the cards in the middle of the stack. Yes, it can be done. Is it efficient? No. However, there's no problem to access the top and bottom cards. The workmanship on this wallet is really nice and the wallet looks great. I’ve used a trayvax element for about a year before purchasing a carbon fiber ridge wallet. Got it off of mercari used for about 65-70 dollars. You can also check eBay. I love both wallets and now I have the option to switch out between the 2 as I choose. Will look to order a titanium ridge one whenever I get the chance just to be able to switch things up every once in a while. I’m officially dead set that I will support trayvax and ridge wallet when it comes to my EDC. When I use the element it’ll be combined with my trayvax link. When I use my ridge wallet it’ll be combined with my leather keychain with ridge.

Curious how many bills the strap and clip can hold. I don't use a lot of cash day to day, but there are times when I use a lot of cash and my 14-year-old wallet is still doing the trick. I'd be open to this wallet. It looks somewhat cool but given the limitations I wouldn't pay a nickel over $10. When I briefly lost my tried-and-true wallet, me and my dad went looking for a new one. We looked at some of the new ones like the ridge and they were pretty cool, but not super practical. Also, super expensive. The one my dad got me cost like $10 at a gas station. It's a more traditional leather type of wallet. We didn't need a cheap wallet, but that was the best one on offer. Had some card space, a decent amount of cash space, and a designated space for your ID. I would have paid $20 for it. It's not the flashiest wallet and is a bit cheap, but the functionality and style raise its value double from the ridge in my view.

Do you not find hard minimalist wallets make holes in your pockets fast? Soft leather minimalist ones don't do this.
@ChrispyThings5 жыл бұрын
It hasn’t happened yet. And to be honest, that’s not enough of an excuse for me to go back to a traditional wallet. I’ve reviewed leather minimalist wallets and they’re great. ANDAR makes a few that I love.

so just a card holder. you cant really call that a wallet

scientist368 But it carries cards and cash. What makes a wallet a wallet?
@scientist3685 жыл бұрын
@@ChrispyThings well in europe we also have coins. and i dont see where you could fit both cards and cash in there without having the issue of dropping them every time you want to take something out
@ChrispyThings5 жыл бұрын
scientist368 True. This is a minimalist wallet though. If you carry coins, it’s definitely not for you.

Coins go in the coin pocket of jeans, if you wear them.

So they are made from real material as describes by Ridge. Its not cheap, printed or knockoff. That is good to know. I'll definitely gonna order a wallet from Ridge. Thanks for your honest review! Also, does the Titanium scratches at all or leave fingerprints?
@ChrispyThings4 жыл бұрын
The titanium will scratch if you have it against keys in your pocket. If you want titanium but don’t want to see many scratches, go with the stonewashed titanium version

I put my wallets through hell in my line of work. Which is stronger, titanium or carbon fiber?
@ChrispyThings4 жыл бұрын
CF. Doesn’t scratch as easy. Unless you get the stonewashed titanium. Then def go with that one.

@@232stef I actually ended up buying a titanium Fantom R wallet for when I want to only carry cards or don't want to walk around with a keychain. Still love my contour! Still may end up buying a second one some day lol

Flipside 4 wallet fulfilled my needs perfectly. Practicality and functionality on Flipside wallet is undeniable. The look may not be at best but like I said the functionality is amazing and that is what I need and what I care for. Bonding two strong metals with a piece of rubber or elastic or rope doesn’t make sense and doesn’t do it for me. It is very cheap in design (no-brainer) but not very cheap in price.

I LOVE my Flipside 4 but it isn't the same thing. The Flipside is perfect for everyday, but I'd feel much cooler pulling out the Ridge if I was out in the evening. No reason you can't own both. Phillip.

Why spend over $20.00 for any wallet?
@ChrispyThings4 жыл бұрын
Do you own anything of higher quality? It’s an accessory, like a watch, jewelry, folding knife, or whatever you want to carry as an edc. Some people (like myself) take pride in our edc. I’m guessing you don’t. Which is fine! You do you. I’ll do me 👍🏻

Ridge did a 40% off deal on the wallet and keyfob and i used your code to get another 10%. that's 305 euro then 40% to 190 euro then another 10% off is 171 euro if your buying buy it now

I know. Please don’t watch a 5 year old video and tell me there’s wrong info based on wallets that were released after. I’ve owned the Damascus, etched Damascus, and gold wallets from Ridge so I know there’s more expensive wallets since these. Thanks
