I work in the movie business in NYC. Nobody on the crew will talk about what happens during filming because they know they'll lose their jobs. We sign a ridiculous amount of paperwork claiming we won't disclose anything about plots, actors, or anything else for that matter. If you get caught doing any of these things, they'll black ball you, and that could disqualify you from future projects. It's just not worth doing it.
@corywilliams16984 жыл бұрын
@Mourning Star not me personally, but I know people who have. I know a couple of guys who worked on house of cards. Everyone on that show knew about Spacey, they just didn't talk about it. He chased around young male interns and the higher ups let it happen apparently. They all knew. As far as drugs go, that's not done in front of people any more. Back in the 80's and early 90's it was wide open. They'd have drugs on the craft service table (provided by production) from what I've heard. That was before my time though. Can't really get into specifics for obvious reasons.... I actually love my job and don't want to post anything that would jeopardize that. 😉

@@rodjohnson7210 I'm a conservative guy in a very far left business. You'd be surprised how many of us there are. Not everyone affiliated with this business is an evil nut job. If I saw any behavior that was hurting anyone I'd report it. The problem here, is that major actors in the past were allowed to get away with what ever they wanted to because of who they were and the amount of power they wielded. The metoo movement put an end to that. Now there's a zero tolerance policy for cast and crew alike. I don't work on film crews anymore so I'm not usually around the higher ups or the actors anymore. My job now, requires me to set things up before the film crew gets there. I have nothing to do with the actual filming that takes place. I normally have no idea what what the show is even about that I'm working on. I'm a rigger. I go to the locations where they want to film and rig up the lights where they want them. I have no input in anything other than that. The state of my soul is just fine. I'm a God fearing man and I wouldn't work on anything that would compromise that, and I definitely wouldn't have anything to do with a production company that turned a blind eye to the abuse of other people. I'd report it to our Union immediately and they would shut it down.

The cannabis as a gateway drug thing breaks down to two things. 1. Once you smoke weed for the first time you realize you've been lied to and start to wonder what other drugs your parents and teachers lied about. 2. Having it illegal puts you in contact with drug dealers, who usually or eventually deal in drugs other than and offer them to you. When I had that first thought I made a rule, keep it natural; cannabis, mushrooms, mescaline, ayahuasca, etc.

Car accidents and cases of psychosis are on the rise. Just because it's a plant doesn't mean it's safe. Most people in Hollywood smoke weed. That's enough to raise red flags for me. THC addicts are extremely biased. It also elevates sex. So they sexually demoralized the masses and then strategically legalized weed. What a coincidence lol! I guarantee that critics can out debate weed fanboys. It would be embarrassing, like watching libs debate cons. Intellectually murdered every time.
