Do not speak to anyone but God. The WHOLE story is not fully out. Both sides had points. Both sides made mistakes Both sides need to reconcile with God first. There was blindness to choose this act, but not intentional. there was poor communication from and by Mark afterwards in further conversations and texts, that defeats the purpose of confronting compromise, but diverted conversation to bad behavior. Satan wants to deflect the REAL ISSUE. Its about compromise not a person or an event. James took it personally, and then mark began making bad choices in his defense. WRONG both ways. Pastor Mark has been a part of this show since 2017. This is a publicity stunt on Mark's part and he's done this kind of thing in the past including lying on other ministries and accusing them when what actually happened was fully captured on camera, then he lied on the other ministry. That's not to say he wasn't right about this particular thing and the other Pastor openly lied about the man that was on the pole and he himself testified to the fact that he does not have and children and didn't witness to anyone because that's not how he believes. Wasn’t the response by the pastor (to Pastor Mark) influenced by the spirit of baal (jezebel)...?
@carolrobson30368 ай бұрын
I would say so..definitely influenced by Jezabel/Ball spirits. I so admire Mark's strength of faith and allegiance to Father God.

A pole dancer at a Christian men's conference? That's bizarre. And a male pole dancer, at that? What were they thinking? Were they thinking?

What a pity that the supposed men of God did not stand up to defend the pastor who unmasked what this dirty meeting has done. The pastor who asked him to stop talking should be defrocked and never teach again. If we who are part of the body of Christ do not expose the demons, who is going to do it? It is our responsibility, the least we should do since Christ died for us. We must face these demonic things. Brethren, let us stand against these aberrations.

Thank you so much Pastor Troy. After watching it a couple of times, I DO AGREE with you. Another thing was Marc was addressing a PUBLIC happening. It wasn't a thing done in private. HE WAS RIGHT to try and address it publicly. Praying for all involved in this, ESPECIALLY THE PASTOR that "Ran him off" the stage.

Yes, thank you Pastor Troy for standing with the side of truth. What part 1 Peter 1:13-16 do we not understand? The pastor is the one who has the responsibility to apologize to Mark, the men’s attendees, his general assembly, and the rest of the church at large for the neglectful oversight. We as pastors can’t fear men’s opinions but rather fear God. This pastor should publicly renounce and apologize or resign. Resignation by disqualification as a shepard!

Any pastor & leadership team who allows an ex male stripper to open a Bible believing mens conference with that kind of an act tells you their moral compass & discernment is way off course. If he allows that in public what’s going on in private ???

Welcome to my home city Pastor Troy! This is all you get in Springfield Missouri! THATS why I don’t have a home church. This is why I call OpenDoor church my home church My city is totally sick minded. There is Gay bars all over we have people walking around wearing cat masks around in our streets. So sicking. My city has the most heaviest dark feeling that never goes away in my city. I have left many times and moved to another state and every time I come back to Springfield Missouri I get so depressed

This is the most reasonable, logical, rational, fair and BIBLICAL response to this I have seen so far. Not that I have listened to a ton of commentary because I haven’t, but this covers all sides, not least the fact that Mark Driscoll was specifically there to talk about the Jezebel spirit! Scratching my head as to what other reaction Pastor Lindel expected? Mind blowing. This is a very good example of how “if it’s possible we can all be deceived” in the day of which we live.

@9:25 "and as humble as anybody I've ever seen" @10 min "I think this was a one in a billion situation of how Mark handled it. I also think he's very much on the other side of a season---and I've seen him talk about this---where he had an ego and he was arrogant, was abrasive and clearly that was not the case with this one. That was a different dude. And up praying all night long with a burden for these people---you could tell he was led by the Holy Spirit." Thank you! I'm appalled at the number of people attacking him when he so clearly wrestled with this and approached it so humbly. He *did the right thing* and he's getting attacked every which way. You brought up points every church should be asking and getting a battle plan for. I hope to bring these back to our discipleship class on Sunday. You have a new subscriber! Looking forward to checking out the rest of your content!

However, no true Christian man should have even been there the second day after that horrific opening event!! When are men going to speak up for what is right, like Mark did?? Only ONE man in that crowd of thousands had the courage to speak out like that?
@markbrown43968 ай бұрын
@@HannahJH-gd2vt i understand what you are saying but that’s really over generalizing here. It took Mark saying those things to awaken the conviction and voice of God within me about such things that I have tolerated in my life. I think Pastor Lindell missed an incredible chance to see massive repentance and perhaps the real start to the revival his church has been praying for. He could’ve led the way. Instead, he got in the way…all to protect his brand.
