In this rant, I'm addressing the problems I've had with the 2k community in the past few weeks. I packed a lot into this rant, so make sure to listen all the way through!
I'm a big fan of NBA 2K and I've been playing the game for years. But lately, I've been really disappointed with the community on 2K24. I'm not the only one, either. There's been a lot of talk about how toxic and unpleasant the 2k community has become.
In this rant, I'm sharing my thoughts on the 2k community and why it's been such a problem for me in the past few weeks. I hope you enjoy it and that it helps you

First thing I always do is look at nba rosters from Home Screen and figure out who I want to model my game after. Then I proceed like you just said

In the opening home screen, go to features, create a player, import player DNA then go to sigs. You can see each players animations.

Great video. a lot of ppl need to do this instead of watching yt vids for “the best build” if more ppl did this we wouldn’t necessarily have a meta

Agreed but honestly people should just look at no video and make what they feel like the old days, I miss seeing real trash builds lmao ,but honestly 2k should bring back archetypes so people can have roles to fulfill instead of people trying to make the best thing possible as long as there is a “best” that’s what’s gonna get the love and attention

I make replica builds myself and instead of making it off of ratings 2K hands out I just watch a ton of highlights to make my determination of what they should have or what I can get away with. My fav build so far is my 6’9 Brandon Ingram

U also need to know what attributes are needed for certain badges. Otherwise you end up putting attributes up for no reason. Also need to know what are the attributes caps for certain animations like contact dunks etc...

Great video, I have a Pete Maravich build that perfect for my playstyle , I’m a great shot hunter middy and 3’s , never been a dribble god or a good finisher so I literally made a diming sharpshooter with 80 ball handle and it fit for me , some of these dudes run in the paint and make a bunch of bs and I just personally never been able to do that so I am completely perimeter oriented , I’ve experimented with other builds like slashers and all around 3 level threats but I had to stop wasting money and realize that simply shooting and passing is my bread and butter

I hope all those 2k players will start doing those look-a-like-players lmaooooooo I always tell myself that I want a typa player, but not exactly a look-a-like. With the face recreation I always go with Dr. J because that's my go to face since 2k19, but rating wise I lean to a player but I still bring in my own style and gameplay and my own touch. Yes, I do go with "meta" animations, but I just play my role that I want to play and not the NBA player I want to play. If I want to play a look-a-like NBA player, then I can go to myteams and play triple-threat coop with my friends lol
