I couldn't even finish the first episode. Huge Tolkien, especially Silmarillion, fan. I did not recognize these characters. This was not Galadriel. I absolutely loved the idea of diversification amongst the races in a version of LOTR as a preamble to these stories somehow predating our world, but the events, and manner of named characters was too jarring. and the story elements weren't the only issue; the writing and dialogue was awful. plus the pronunciation of the "creatives" about their respect for the works- total garbage.

I was hopelessly naive on this one, considering the current political climate, I'd expected they'd explore the Haradrim, origins, and expand on the existing property exploring other groups predating the war of the last alliance also. They had free reign. Instead, we got this lazy remake of sorts that brought nothing new to the table, I completely agree.
