this is definately true, to be honest, the video isnt about just trashing on games, it has to have a dramatic tittle in order to get clicks (unfortunately) but i really do hope what i say is very balanced, i praise the game, i loved the game when i played, i go on to mention it hasnt even furfilled its true potenail yet.

Hello, first of all I would like to thank you for putting up this video, especially about the game. The game died and fell for two main reasons. Firstly, there is not enough content for PVE and PVP players. Secondly, there is a lack of respect for old players. The BHOP fast movement has been canceled and most of the good weapons have been weakened and the content in the store is repetitive and bad. I spent 1870 hours on the game, from the old ones from October 2022 to March 2024, and also most of the skins are duplicated and the spirit of competition against players has died. I hope that the game will return as it was before, as it truly deserves my regards to everyone.👌😢

Totally forgot about this game! I remember i wanted to try it when you made a video about it but it was only on pc .. but now that its basicly dead i dont know if i will try it… even if i now got a pc to play it on…because of all the negative reviews.. lets hope they revive it and make it to its potential!

nice video but sadly doesn't actually cover any of the real reasons this game died everything here is just surface level, the real reasons this game died are much deeper than what you paint as the real reasons for its death. also they added ranked about a week ago just an fyi

@@braduk_ the game died for a lot of reasons mainly being cheaters (fun fact the devs were defending a cheater) terrible servers performance getting worse each update and to top it all off the devs focused more on PvE content wehn most of the playerbase are PvP focused

@@dankasaurusrex thats fair, i mean cheaters happen in any game, you can pick any game on the internet and there will be cheaters, from speed runners, to aim bot to wall hacks - its a real shame, personally thats why i liked PVE, it was a nice relaxing way to play online without the cheating, as mentioned in my video, i personally felt the PVE side was the games strong point, servers i only played very early on, and had no issue, but again, the controller for me was unplayable so i was forced to use kbm, which wasnt an issue, but can understand why they didnt launch on console whilst the controller had such issues

I think the controller support has improved a lot, it was mostly how responsive it was to the joy sticks when it first launched but it has improved a lot, this game actually still Has a chance of getting some light but I think it has to launch on consoles in order to do that

Shatterline is a very pleasant FPS when it comes to Pve, but when you think about playing some PvP matches, the presence of wall cheaters and try hards in matchmaking is clear. Fps need to realize that separating try hard "cheaters" from casual players is necessary. I present a solution: The leveling of the matches will be dictated according to your "K.D" That way, everyone would stay in the game, and not abandon it because it's almost impossible not to fall into a game with people who kill you instantly. Another observation is to allow the use of Operators to everyone. Ex: if you want the healing operator, you'll have to hope that no one catches it before it's your turn, if you want to throw grenades... you'll have to hope that no one catches the only operator that has them. These things made me even give up on the game's pve, which is why I joined.

whats your opinion for the failure of the game? to be honest, i wasnt trying to just trash on the game, i was giving it a balanced argument like i did my other videos.

@@braduk_ there are a lot of reasons, i cant really tell you because a lot of my playtime was when the game was already dead (below 500 players avg). It was fun tho, we all knew each other each game and the better players would have like an ego battle each game trying to carry their team😂. There was a point where each game I would know 6-7/10 people on both teams. Anyway, everyone played and wanted PvP stuff, trust me I am In all the discord groups and such, we were trying to make ranked/ competitive scene, we had no custom games, i watched as everyone stopped playing and now even i stopped myself, fraglabs came back with the Plant The Bomb rework trying to make it like cs comp game mode and they even invited us the pros to privately play test it and give feedback and we even played against them (players vs devs, I have a video about it) and that was fun and I think all the devs are hardworking good people but now that the new ranked game mode is live it's not bringing new players or anything, game is still dead. There is so much history and stuff about this game and details I missed, so much I can tell you especially about the competitive scene but it would just be too long. If for some reason maybe your more interested or wanna do part 2 I suggest you join the discord server, main one is "Shatterline Community" and from there you find the competitive one. You could also hmu there I have the same pfp and name.
