I think the Apex character designs are great, it would be boring asf if they were all white males. A blend of all is far more interesting. Once again, is a fictional universe, it could be all female if they wanted it to be. It doesn't effect gameplay.

What would get me back is something for bots like myself. Something that allows me to have fun while being terrible. I used to have friends who were good to carry me but not anymore. So, dropping just to die and start over is just boring. Give me something that allows for Dad's (or moms) who get an hour at night by themselves to play can have be bots with each other and have fun

7k hours and I still love this game❤❤❤Going from complete dogwater to dropping multiple 24ks across 3 legends has been one of the most painful yet rewarding experiences I have had! As someone who has only soloqed and am always the backpack I absolutely love the new Revival modes as it helps me keep fighting and focusing on winning while my teammates are no longer super needy. I also love Straight Shot and wish it was permanently in the play list. Forced fights off drop, kitted ground loot, revived teammates and faster rings is like pure Apex crack 🤤

I play because the base game is still a blast. Gunplay, legends etc. I just ignore the monetization and drama. If I have played rank so much that i’ve started getting cheaters, then I get off and go play something else or play pubs or mixtape.

I played from launch until end of season 1 and then I didn’t play again until season 18. For me the appeal was always how damn good the guns feel to shoot. I think that gets lost or forgot today in fps games. Having to learn the different recoil patterns and bullet drop/travel time. The sounds of the shields being hit/broken/healed all of it is so good. There was an OBVIOUS skill gap to this game and I think that is such a cool element to it. When it came out it was like “you’re either going to get it or you’re going to suck at it” and that is almost non-existent in games now with how easy the games are made because they want to draw in as many people as possible by making the level playing field part of the appeal. Apex seemed to take an artistic approach and made people work at getting good at the game. I’m so bummed I missed out on solo-ques!!

Been playing since season 2--got hooked right away by the gameplay. Took a break about a year ago because of all the cheaters that were just taking the fun out of it. I started playing again about 1 month ago, and am still playing, because now I don't seem to run into the cheaters as much as before, and because I just love the competition and the cooperation between my squadmates. Sometimes, yes, none of us work well together, and sometimes you get goofballs that just run off and do their own thing, but for the most part, it feels like everyone's making an honest effort, and I like that.

I started playing apex (xbox) again about 3 weeks ago and im loving it. Iv had it installed since season 8 but hadnt been playling it properly since season 14 (due to other games i wanted to play). But since coming back i dont get why everyone says its dying. The amount of options with the ltms is unmatched since any time i used to play it. The gun play and movement is still the best out of any fps. The addition of all the abilities and quality of life changes are amazing (except for the health bar pop up causs it does my boy mirage dirty). Im a decent casual player and play ranked (hardstuck plat) and iv never had an issue with cheaters. The cosmetics are expensive but this season they made the battlepass free which was crazy cause i came back and just got so much cool stuff for free. So u dont need to buy stuff to even get good gear. Valorant for example, u have to spend an unholy amount to get any skins. I truly dont understand why people have so many issues with apex but from my experience its still a great game.

Good video Tony. I joined S7 so I never knew a world without horizon. I enjoyed duos with my brother. Mainly played when he played. Then I stopped around S12 because he stopped playing and I got bored solo. I came back on S18 and this time I got hooked because I wanted to grind and get better. In short, I play to this day because I’ve gotten better the more I play. That is rewarding and now I have a hub of friends where we can run quads and trios comfortably for a few hours. That is a lot of fun.

thanks for speacking facts. I made all suggestion you made on Apex forum, streamers and youtubers commentaries : replay kill and party system like in overwatch, sms verification and cross over off. For me too it sounds like he could slow down cheaters considering report system added with party replay would give a significant proof but yeah we are talking about EA who prefered to buy a wish anti-cheat system instead of investing money to secure their customers

I played this game the day it came it out. From there i played until about season 7, then i took a break for a long time because it didn't feel fresh anymore. Now I play it consistently. The thing I love most about it, as you mentioned in the beginning, was the pacing. No other BR felt like it. The pacing is what made me really enjoy the game as well all of the legend combinations that make it a team game. Now that I have been playing ranked more, I really would like to see a refined anticheat.

I’ve been on console since season 2 and have maybe only once come across two teams working together. You made it seem way bigger of a problem . Also might be my serves . I’m east coast in the south . Love the game . Only thing we need is a better club system . Model it after ROTMG clubs where you get a base and you can upgrade your base by competing in tournaments for points . Then you can buy stuff for your base using the tournament coins , it also should cost tournaments coin to even join a torny. Tournaments should be separated into areas of US and after each area wins they go to the finals where all the winning teams play

I still love playing the game. I’m an OG from FEB 2019. I’ve always had console, but I was playing on “6:4 Fine Aim ” and it was a terrible experience. since season 15 I’ve had been playing on “classic 4:4” settings then finally “linear 4:4” settings. The game truly unlocked for me. I’ve been a master since then. I feel the game is dying and I’m in peak form. So I’m sad 😢😢

Dear god there are so many rampart bugs added every season and it is so horrid. She can't even be played in the ltms or rotating modes, that's how bad she is getting with the glitches and clunkiness. There’s been like 9 different ranked systems in 11 seasons. I’m all about testing new things but the way it was executed shifted the opinion of the player base massively. Lots of missed opportunities. I’ve stuck with the franchise since Titanfall and plan to see it through. ✌🏽

I Stopped playing because of Cronus zen in console lobbies. If Iwas to come back they need to either ban cheaters or match make from kdr and hit % so it’s fair again. Perhaps even send the Cronus players to their own lobbies (in secret) so we don’t have to play against them.

I don’t play anymore because the game feels like it’s lost it’s heart and soul. Most, if not all, of the original devs have been replaced and it feels like they just don’t put any love into the game anymore. All they seem to care about now is easy money, yet they aren’t even great at achieving that goal because the content has become so stale and the game is plagued with so many issues, that their player base is slowly evaporating. It feels like I’m playing a game that’s being run by incompetence in all honesty… It was when they denied us winter express that I knew the game was never going to feel the same again, and that still holds true for me. Maybe if they had replaced it with something better (fat chance considering how fun that ltm was) it would have been okay, but the game modes they release now are extremely boring compared to the game modes they released in the past And don’t even get me started on the current state of the shop, that thing is a hot mess and the skins just reflect the utter lack of creativity that the current devs have Idk, maybe other people like the content more these days and I just have my preference, but for me personally, if I think the devs have poor taste then I won’t get much enjoyment out of the game they create, so there isn’t much point in trying to play it. I’ll go back every now and then and get my apex fix, the gameplay still feels more or less the same but I can only play the same thing so many times before it starts to get old and the utter lack of fulfilling extra content within the game just makes it so I have to search elsewhere for the sort of entertainment I’m looking for. On top of that, I actually used to be a straight up demon solo queuer because the game used to excite me. Now that I don’t have that excitement I don’t have the energy to shake the rust off and work on my skills again… I just don’t care anymore and would rather do something else. So after getting my bootius handed to me for a couple matches by the endless supply of sweats and cheaters the game now has, I just call it a day and turn it off. I honestly think that battle Royales in general are just starting to die and that the best thing apex could do to stay relevant is to find a new sector of the market to break into; create some new game mode or bring something back but with a twist, idk. I personally like the idea of an extremely large-scale control mode with WAY more players, WAY more points to capture, a much bigger map and whatever other little changes need/could be made to make it more enjoyable. I think that would be extremely fun but I also don’t really know the data on what most gamers would want so that’s just an example really. I’m not talking about some kind of ltm or arena game mode either, I’m talking about something BIG to rival the era of Battle Royales and maybe start a new trend for other companies to hop on as well. I think, considering how fun the gameplay is in Apex legends but how boring the content has become (a problem that runs all the way down to its roots as a BR title imo), the best thing it can do for itself, as well as the gaming world, is try to lead the gaming community into a new and exciting era of online, multiplayer shooters. THAT, is likely the only way we’ll ever feel that “honeymoon” period with apex again… if they don’t muck it up, of course

So my completely honest opinion why I still play Apex, first of all, I'm a pretty late for this game, S16 was my first season,but before that I used to play Apex Mobile, and totally honest, Apex Mobile was my love on mobile games, it was what I love on a mobile rather than the old genre games on mobile, but after its shutdown I still wanted to play so I got a laptop and continue to play on steam for time being so that if some day it makes a comeback on mobile with Cross progression and play I would have a decent account stats and some good skins on legends already to play again, and one of my favourite reasons to play is the game core itself, having seperate ability and ult for every seperate character in a BR/Moba game is what I love TBH, that's why I'm also trying games like Deadlock and on mobile T3 Arena

have started to play again more recently, I have been on and off since the beginning and i enjoyed the straight shot mode but my only complain would be that a lot of the maps could be slightly smaller, very frequently im spawned far away from teams and spend half the match looking for teams to fight which doesnt make sense but when this is not the case i fight and if i survive the multiple teams I still have to look for teams for a long time again, so perhaps more teams or slightly smaller maps but not so small like arenas. As for ranked the matchmaking is bootycheeks so maybe revert it to old ranked like season 8 to some degree, theres enough videos about ranked so I will not elaborate and finally two more things, i wish for the movement on console to be smoother like on pc where even gibby feels fast and for actuall collabs with shows and all that rather than knock off skins

After 4-5 years, I think im just done with Apex overall. It was a good ride while it lasted, but the game feels "soulless" and unispired now. We've gone back to events where you have to gamble for items, we haven't had a (new) legend specific heirloom in OVER A YEAR, the meta feels extremely stale, and people take Apex way too seriously from a casual standpoint. I miss Apex when it was innovating and trying new things instead of milking us dry with nothing to show for it.

my biggest issue is WHY MUST IT ROTATE GAME MODES??? why can't we have multiple game mode without the need to switch every 15 fucking minutes.
