Nice job mate. You did a good job at explaining what has happened. and thank you for giving me a shout out and saying that I'm "a lovely content creator", that means a lot. But, I can see why some found the series to be repetitive, but for me... I can't get enough of the show. I find the art style, charm, blood and comedy to be like nothing else, and to me... every episode has something new and refreshing. But here is a few things that I thought I should say... The HTF controversy is ridiculous. because HTF is not targeted towards young children and if a child does not like it, it's the fault of the parents. And Russia saying that HTF harms young children is also ridiculous, because again HTF is not targeted at young children. and where is the evidence where HTF is actually harming children, (simple answer... there is none) I agree that game "Fire Escape" is not the greatest, and is very hard. I also agree like most that "KZbin Copyright school" is terrible. Plus MondoMedia was paid by KZbin to make it. And that Japanese merchandise that you showed was actually released between 2010 to 2013.

I was introduced to Happy Tree Friends by my best friend when I was 12 years old. Now, I’m 20 years old. And I’m still watching some of these old episodes. I always thought about the reason of the show ending was a similar situation with South Park, where the creators got tired of making Kenny die in creative ways and couldn’t really think of anymore ways for him to die or just got bored of the gag of him dying and coming back the next day. Nowadays, I don’t think Kenny gets killed that much anymore as he used to. But, I believe that HTF was a great show for it’s time. I feel like it did define a generation for most people, negative or positive. And I feel like it does deserve a comeback at the very least. On the side note, I’d say Nutty was my favorite character as he was the most goofiest character in my opinion and his obsession with sweets and sugar is very relatable. On a final note, a big thumbs up for a great video! It really gave me some clarity with how Happy Tree Friends ended.

You’re talking about Sniffles aren’t you? That’s the Anteater’s name. Even though I’ve only taken notice of the series for so long, I noticed that he always felt very different from the others. Not only for having a unique design but also because he was one of the only characters I never found annoying. He was usually the one in a beef with those Ants. There was this one episode where even the makers of the show were a little shocked at how intense it got. Do you remember the episode where he encounters them and tries to catch them with his tongue?

Its clear to me that Mondo doesn't care about happy tree friends at all The many times htf was neglected and put on hiatus was a clear sign that mondo wasn't afraid to dissapoint the fans leaving them out in the dark for multiple years To me the Still alive stunt was a clear warning sign that if the fans didn't fork over the cash for mondo to make new episodes that happy tree friends will no doubt be cancelled those that pledged for new episodes got screwed over So it seems happy tree friends was on life support before mondo secretly cancelled the show but mondo themselves never let the actual fans know the show has been cancelled ' ken himself had to brake the news to the fans on social media. So It really does suck how the creators don't have the rights to happy tree friends I would love to see a new TV series on paramount ➕ you know because comedy central & paramount seems to care more about iconic adult animation than what mondo currently does the htf situation reminds me of another mondo cartoon what sadly just vanished off the face of the earth does anyone even remember DR TRAN? And Honestly The merchandise for happy tree friends alone should have made mondo media enough cash to make new episodes right now I look at the comments on mondo's new cartoons and all I ever see is bring back HTF its clearly a no brainer to eventually bring happy tree friends back I also think The movie itself could have worked if they told interesting backstories like how handy lost his hands who was cub's mother how did she die where did lammy live before happy tree land? stuff like that would have given the characters more interesting back stories. Happy Tree Friends was weirdly one of my childhood cartoons. Even hum the theme tune to it, while at work, to this very day. Had the DVDs and the Tamagochi of it too. I always did wonder what happened too it. Definately a product of it's time for sure, modern audiences most certainly wouldn't let it slide, much like Metalocalypse by Adult Swim.

Happy Tree Friends fell in popularity because Mondo Media was insane. Nice Video about Happy Tree Friends When i first saw that show back in the Gold Years of KZbin, I Just laughed so hard i do like the Characters on that show except for The Ants, Pop, The Mole, Mr Pickles, Fliqpy and Lumpy And the Animation of that show was beautiful but when HTF Ended 3 Days before Christmas back in 2016, KZbin & Mondo media will never be the same without it Let's all Hope that Happy Tree Friends will come back for more Episodes....or a Reboot Long Live HTF

Transforming HTF into a 90-minute movie wouldn't have worked, as the entire concept of the show relies on a specific joke-taking the stereotypical child-friendly cartoon storyboard and flipping it completely by putting these cartoon characters through hell. The show would face the same issues that arose when Tom and Jerry were adapted into a feature film; there simply wasn't enough content, leading to the addition of elements that didn't belong, which ultimately sidelined the core concept.

My guess as to why the show doesn't go on (I personally think it's over for HTF) is just because the concept has kinda outstayed it's welcome. You can only kill your animated characters so many times without it getting stale, just like you said. Additionally, I imagine the concept is more risky now, because of terrible parents who are to stupid to understand that it's their responsibility to keep their children away from trauma. And about the fanbase: They undoubtably have a lot of fans, these fans aren't really what MondoMedia is looking out for. Just like any private company, they want a casual viewerbase that is vast, with a strong fan base in the middle that buys extra content like merch. If they don't see the casual viewers getting interested, they won't make new episodes. You can see this for many TV series, video games, etc. Just because there's a fan base, it doesn't mean the IP is profitable. I'd say it's ok though. Nothing lasts forever (other then the simpsons, lol) and we thankfully can watch the episodes on youtube any time we want.
