Well said, and I could not agree more with you, Luis! It’s true that Elite (Miss Charm organization) acquired the MU license, which seems to be a bad idea because they want to build their own international pageant from scratch with limited financial resources and not much reputation and now have to share the focus on another national pageant for MU Vietnam which is deteriorating due to a lack of ability and experience in production. The fact that Miss Cosmo organization had done so well with Miss Universe Vietnam in the last 15 years makes it worse that MU Vietnam is not as prestigious as before. Additionally, Miss Charm is abandoned since Elite obviously could not afford both. Uni (Miss Cosmo organization) are prestigious and well-known for their professional in production, will be a big hit for Miss Cosmo this year, they have big fan base in Vietnam and i believe it was a great decision for them to start their own pageant after 15 years of experience.

Not sure if you’re aware of this but Indonesia also withdrew from Miss Charm - just announced it last month. And just like Krishnah, Lulu was also crowned last year (at Puteri Indonesia). So having two contestants withdrew, especially from countries with big fan bases, definitely put a bad mark on Miss Charm. Lulu also said Charm has been postponed to a longer period this year (not stating the exact time tho).

Miss Cosmo is in good hands, if you study at how Miss Vietnam Universe was staged before the change of the frqnchise holder, the production is always on point despite it only being staged every two years. We can expect a lot with the team handling Cosmo. Prolly they just need to improve on the overall production show aspects, such as choice of hosts and performers and make the production numbers exciting.

I think Charm is waiting to have more contestants that’s why it has been postponed a few times but not too many countries are joining.

At this point they should take the initiative and start appointing people themselves. In the Philippines, smaller pageants partner with modeling agencies and appoint models from all over the world the represent their country event though most of them live in Manila. Miss Charm should do that since nobody is running to buy their franchise

Many minor international pageants cannot sustain their productions. Lack of focus or failure to come up with funds and resources in a timely manner.

Straight forward at least she hve to advocay her #advocacy in #charm... Me too, search for perfection but there's not perfection 🙏 Small or big we hve to adapt❤ frm India

Miss Charm should be given to another organization. It should be acquired by BPCI , the entire organization. Clearly the organization cannot sustain a yearly pageant

Here's a twist: Elite, who owns Miss Charm, also runs Miss Universe Vietnam after winning the license from Uni Network (Miss Cosmo) in 2023. MUV is massive in Vietnam, so Elite seems to be going all-in on it this year. (Word is they're spending over $2 million on MUV 2024, with a whopping $500,000 cash prize for the winner!) This could explain the Miss Charm delays. In the end, it's likely all about resources and where Elite sees a bigger return on investment.

Krishna Gravidez deserves to be the next Miss World and she made the wisest decision . Miss Cosmo International org will definitely gain more trust from the beauty pageant candidates and enthusiasts than MUO and will surely be its biggest rival especially if it will be handled by Paula Shugart. I have always thought that MUPh should have given her a runner up position so she could return and compete for MUPh or Supranational Philippines. Those two pageants, I feel, are more deserving of her beauty, her prototype if you will.❤

It's sad what is happening.... Because Miss Charm is doing the same shit as before.. They do not release any new information, but are active on their IG talking about the new candidates. They did this for the first edition, where the time kept getting postponed and postponed... How unprofessional.. Because of this, it will always be a low-tier pageant because of these credibility issues

Most of the big pageants are demanding their reps be the main winner from their national pageant. Only Supranational, if you consider it big, takes runner-ups.

Um but Miss Asia Pacific is also A Regional Pageant so it is not considered a Minor which MUPH also has that License and also they have Miss Aura International License which is considered a Minor Pageant and Miss Eco Teen License which is a Teen Pageant!

@@Cooldripguy in the old days when you do not win the big title, you still have a chance to compete at one of the bigger international pageants. Now you have to go to cheapos contests with stupid names like Aura, Eco, Summit etc because all of the better names had been taken.

Come on, the name itself sounds very silly and something you do not take seriously….Miss Charm 🤣. They should fire the person that thought of that name. Also Miss Cosmos and Miss Planet. Silly names in my opinion.
