I’m an insane Nekojiru fan, always trying to find out more about her works, about her husband, and her life. It’s not just her work, but I feel an incredible connection to her, from the little I could find. Especially her most spiritual works. Your translations are God sent, honestly. Thank you so much for keeping her spirit alive, and for your hard work.

I have also been obsessed with this obscure manga since I discovered the Nekojiru movie a while back, I have also dig everything I could on English and everytime I just find more its amazing, I'll make fanart and get a tattoo of them soon enough too Thanks for creating this channel, Im so happy to find more info

Wow, I am pretty sure i used YOUR website to first read nekojiru a while back. i randomly clicked this video without knowing you. thank you for your hard work, ive spent many long nights scrolling through your uploaded translations. i love nekojiru, i feel very connected to it and it brings me comfort. thank you again

You're the one who translates them? Thank you so much. I stumbled upon the DVD randomly when I was young and was instantly addicted but never knew it went deeper until just a couple of years ago.

Great video! Just wanted to also say that I really appreciate your translation and archiving efforts for all things Nekojiru. I found her work through some scanlations I found randomly and have found myself both amused but also deeply affected by it. Since then I’ve getting ever more obsessed with it and your site has been a godsend for helping me dig even deeper into the work and the lore surrounding it. So, seriously, thank you.

Great video. Your spot on with a lot of details. I recently went to Japan and spent some time trying to find some of her manga with no success. I was actually kind of shocked how there was nothing. I even went to denden town and many bookoffs but with no luck. It's really all forgotten now. Edit: Thanks for the translations by the way. It was by translators like yourself that got me into this

nekojiru kind of reminds me of crack-duck a little bit, it was a dark comedy internet cartoon that was created by an artist who sadly passed away in the same way the creator of nekojiru did. I'd like to make a fan animation for it someday that could be the equivalent to nekojiru's cat soup, that movie really inspired me

I wonder why older American manga magazine like Pulp don't publish Nekojiru. If they can show Heartbroken Angels, Nekojiru will be fine.

I liked the video, and I liked the music in the video. My only gripe is the title. It's overdramatic. There wasn't a fall of Nekojiru, she died

That's a fair point. I'm thinking of changing it to something more mysterious I just haven't come up with a good one yet

I found out about nekojiru from a random google search that lead me to finding the cat soup film, i didnt know it had more content until i stumble across your twitter user!, i hope i can get my hands on some merch soon.
