Tai is responsible for me getting into reading books and personal finance. I took his 67 steps program, and I owe a lot to him for helping me get the right mindset relatively early on. edit: this isn't an ad for 67 steps, I'm pretty sure Tai doesn't even promote it. I took the program back in 2018 and listened to it while working out. I found out about Tai around 2017 and he was the gateway to getting into to personal finance content on KZbin, which eventually led to me following Graham. I live debt free, I live on less than what I make and I'm currently working on moving to a different state while having enough money saved up for real estate investing while I'll continue my sales career. I will retire a multi millionaire and it all started with following Tai. I didn't open a book since graduating high school in 2008 until 2017 when I was 27 years old and I owe that solely to Tai.

Tai helped changed my life. Back in 2018 I was nearly 30 had a failed business after a decade and nobody would hire me because I had worked for anyone since I was in high school. A friend sent me Tai Lopez's SMMA course the original one. Nothing to crazy but there was one video "How To Motivate Yourself Past Your Fears" that clicked the light bulb on. At that time I had moved back in with my parents and my life could have disappeared easily, fast forward 5 years I tripled my income, own my own home, I live in one of the best suburbia areas of the country. Its not the Lambo life and I was never interested in get rich quick but its a good life and it wouldn't have happened without Tai. His content and marketing tactics have always been controversial, all I can say is that I never would have got here without him and I definitely would never pursued SEO and digital marketing which is how I make living today had it not been for that course.

Socrates's word for the "good life" was Eudaimonia. It's a combination of "good" and the word that came to mean "demon", but at the time angels would also be called "daimon"s. Interestingly, in computer programming, the word still exists as "daemon" which is a sort of self-running program, almost like the Jewish idea of a golem, which, taken back far enough, has the same sort of idea of a spirit/unformed spark of life. Eudaimonia is often translated as "happiness", but it really means something more like "live so that when you die your spirit will be a good one".

I discovered Tai thru the notorious Here in My Garage video. At the time I couldn’t afford his program, and I’m glad I didn’t - it was selling me an easy way out, but the sell was enough to get me curious about his world. The key thing that was really instilled from his words was how powerful knowledge is. Opportunities for success is all around us, everyday, but it requires a combination of luck, timing, and competency. You can’t capitalize unless you have some of all of these. KNOWLEDGE and books are such insane ways to access competency. We can live our lives blaming our luck, blaming our timing, but the truth is that’s just an excuse to not improve yourself and your competency. Anyway. I now have a brand of my own and it all started with the love of knowledge that he taught me. It took about 4/5 years of reading all the self help/business books before I did something, but when the moment was right, I took it because I was ready.

@@ParallelRentals1987 I dont disagree that its interesting to study the minds of these ppl. Its just important to tread lightly and make sure you dont fall for their trap. I found this interview to be interesting as well but I’ll never follow tai Lopez or any of his programs. He’s a mind you want to learn about, not follow.

@Bryan Congratulations as a single mom life has never been easy. I keep struggling with my bills because what I earn working for others can't give me three square meals. Reading your message, I am so inspired and would like to try investing. I would be grateful if you could link me up with your ffinancial-adviser.

2012. I lost everything. I was homeless and I saw Tia Lopez on KZbin. I had no money but I really wanted into one of his programs. I messaged his company and I received a free lifetime membership to the program I wanted. 4 years ago I went back to school, learned to code. I built an online business and i make money every month. Thank you Tai Lopez. It was where I started my journey.

You got into his program in 2012 (10 years in the program). And from all that you just decided to go to college 6 years into the program? And still broke? 🤦🏽♂️

@@martyozaeta I lost everything in a divorce. I spent all my money trying to see my kids. I ended up living in my car. Yeah..it took me a while but Tia’s 67 stepped helped a ton. It gave me hope. So I went back to college, learned to code and a built a new business. I’m not broke now.
