Rodgers has definitely played poorly in the playoffs but then there’s game like that 2020 NFC Championship game where he was the best player that game 3TDs 350+ yards 97.0 passer rating 72% completion percentage And still lost Kevin king lost them that game and yet everyone says Rodgers lost that game for them

It reminds me of Peyton Manning. Regular season dominance but then in the post season things just go bad. In particular I think of his losses starting with that NFC title loss to the Seahawks. In all of em there are just to many plays that are there that Rodgers is not making. Packers will be talented again this year and have an easier schedule than Bucs/Rams. If they don’t get it done this year than idk what to say.

As an NFL fan since the fifties the only thing I'll remember about Aaron Rodgers after his playing days are over is the absurdity of how so many sportswriters and sportscasters referred to him as "the greatest quarterback playing the game today." Granted, Rodgers has accumulated impressive stats over the years, but I don't believe that's how "greatness" is achieved. It's by winning championships -- it's not by winning multiple MVPs and then failing to play like one in the big games. When Peyton Manning was losing in the playoffs everyone called him a choker, but when Rodgers loses it's always someone else's fault. His playoff record is 11-10 and he's tied for 28th place in 4th quarter comebacks with John Brodie, Kerry Collins, Dan Fouts, and Jim Kelly with a total of 21 games. What's so legendary about that?

All the playoff losses were not all Rodgers fault so we have to be mindful when it comes to his criticism. Rodgers has dominated as a top qb for many years even to this day. He might not have the superbowls but his talent is by far the greatest passer of a football even with younger talents on his heels like Mahomes

When your defense allows on average 31 plus points in the playoffs it makes it hard to win. Couple that with the few mishaps like the onside kick f*ck up, then the Cardinals scoring in overtime after an impossible hail Mary! Ugh 😫 I can't even think about it all. Sure Rodgers could do better in post season but so could the defense and special teams. You can't win if you put up points but your team keeps giving up more than you get. This last year's loss to the 49ers, sure he could have put up more points, but he didn't really need to until that blocked punt. That was the only TD SF was able to get. Both the defence and offense were holding strong enough up until that point. And yes, Rodgers could have done this or that different but there's no guarantee any of that would have worked out either. There's 10 other players on his side while he's on the field and 11 out there when hes not, they're just as much to blame as he is, he can only do as much as they allow for. It's a team game, everyone loves to hate on Rodgers but the fact is his team made bad plays too, not just him. Just like Brady won those super bowls WITH his team, he did not win them FOR his team. Brady is the most accomplished, Rodgers is the GOAT. Its not all about the rings people, of which Rodgers still has 1, more than most QB's will ever have.

The only one he choked in was this last divisional game against the 9ers. Every other game his defense was god awful. Yes he didnt have his best games in those loses. But he was not the cause for the loss. This past 9ers game his defense gave up 6 points. 2 field goals. The only TD came from a blocked punt. But rodgers can also be blamed for that loss because he only put up 10 points. If you only score one TD and your defense gives up only 6 points but you still manage to lose, the blame mostly falls on your shoulders

Most of his playoff games since his super bowl mvp have been above average for a qb. He certainly has had some bad defenses. However he doesn't look clutch in the 2nd half of these playoff losses. These games are riddled with 3 n out after 3 n out. He may be more talented than Tom Brady, but in my opinion Brady takes the cake in leadership and being clutch at the end of a playoff game. Brady has had the good fortune of a top 10 defense in just about every year of his long career.
