Unfortunately, it's the same story with BTS and media. Jimin achieved #1 on billboard hot 100 yesterday, but instead of celebrating this historic achievement, kpop "critics'" resorted to make backhanded compliments wondering if the song is going to free fall next week or not, and if the GP is even listening to him. they do not care abt the fact that army is such a huge fandom that they in itself should be considered as gp. Billboard changed their criteria two years ago since BTS started topping it frequently with their releases, and gave more leverage to radio play. Idk if y'all are aware but most of the labels/companies of artists pay these radio stations to play their songs. BTS and Bighit never does, therefore most of the charting happens due to army support with buying the songs and albums' physicals and digitals.

I really love this series! It gets better and better for every episode, and especially after you get to ‘I need you’, it becomes so good. It highlights *some* of the hardships the boys went through throughout the years, and it gives you some idea of why they are who they are now. I became an ARMY starting from 2015, and I went through a lot. I really wish ARMYs that joined after BTS became famous can know about how it was like for us back then. It really wasn’t anywhere near easy to get to this point

I was just thinking this morning about their visit to the elderly women in their tiny SRO's, and here it is again this afternoon. It always makes me cry to see the oldest grandma, living there for over 70 years, crying with the boys. How wonderful that they've been able to do so much charitable work and spread so much good in the world over the past decade.

Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. Aneesa the creator of this docu series is an editor. It took her 4 yrs of research to create 20 plus chapters. Many army don't want this series to end. Aneesa has to do more research to tell the rest of BTS story. She sadly does not have much help. And sadly she chose to delete the series and not finish the last 2 chapters after her promotion. I wish she would have left the series as is. It's such great info for baby army. The guys practice 12-16 hrs daily. Warren G was inspired and impressed during American Hustle Life thus, he asked RM to collab. That is huge. And Iris actually is the lady Sister Act movies are based on. The more u know! I liked this one too. All of the chapters are great. The guys performed in japan or Korea not in Russia. If u watch again u will see where their live stages were. I don't think they showed us the Russia performance. Excited to hear your thought on ch.7. So glad u liked this. I am learning so much. I love this! They were so amazing from the get go. BTS didn’t have a company that could pay media outlets for promotion. They had to circumvent that normal formula. They reached out to armies directly. Fast forward to 2023, BTS reached super Star status on their own with just the help of armies. The media still hates them bc BTS realized they can do it without the media. They are totally still under appreciated in Korean media. Not only that, BTS refuses to participate in the payola system here in America. They won’t pay for radio play, play lists, etc. those corporations are still trying to do anything they can to keep BTS from achieving. Armies are totally responsible to their BB achievements bc of album sales, not radio play. BB and YT keep changing the rules bc we continuously work those rules to make BTS successful.

I don’t know if you noticed this already in previous videos or not. I just discovered you guys and haven’t watched all your videos yet. However if you pay attention to the chant „Bangtan bangtan“ that the members always do before a performance, you will notice that Suga always looks away instead of looking in the middle/ in the eyes of the members. The reason for that is his promise he made at some point. He said that when he finally does look his members in the eyes, it will be the last time for BTS to perform together on stage. I don’t know the exact time when he started doing it but I think at this point where you are right know in their journey he still looked. Maybe you‘ll notice in the future 😉

yeah i get what you mean. i've been on their patreon for a while but they're kind of dragging the content out on there too things got slower and slower and more videos unrelated to bts started popping up. it is their journey but it's not fair to make army pay for it and not deliver 🥲 sometimes only 1 bts video a week, and the other videos are opening mail and learning korean. it's been a year since they discovered bts but still haven't gotten to hyyh yet, i'm starting to question it

​@@briennah6931 I apologize if I made it sound like they aren't doing much over at patreon, I appreciate their effort into making these long videos and maybe it's just me because it's been a year and I'm just too excited for them to progress, but yes doing 2 vids for 1 song is probably why the pace is a little slow and feels stagnant. At this pace though some of us will end up paying well into the hundreds for years, and have to leave eventually. Reaction timeline is a little random too like the separated runbts parts that leave me wondering if they're gonna do part 2 etc. I left about 2 months ago and not sure if I've seen the vid about them talking about upload timeline. I'm not questioning their hard work or reactions, just the part where they tend to leave out the YT audience now, and worrying if they will ultimately do this just for money. Important vids like Festa, TROB should be shared with the majority if possible even if it's the lowest tier and not included in Gold polls. Again I paid Gold for months, am not wanting free content or such. But I can't help but feel a twinge for those that are being left out. Certain vids would do amazing on YT and thus drive more ppl to their channel like before, and it doesn't feel good locked behind a paywall even though I know they don't have bad intentions. Maybe they aren't familiar with the weight some content holds, I'm not sure. I remember a lot of us talking about leaving Festa out of Gold, but after that I left so feel free to let me know what direction they took. Again this is my constructive criticism on how to improve managing uploads, especially to keep viewers on the same track if we're paying monthly. I know I would resubcribe patreon months later to check what I missed, but I've already stayed for a year so I wish them all the best in their journey!

@@kazrina5708 the only reason TROB was temporarily not uploaded on KZbin is because around the time when Aneesa removed TROB, the guys felt that to respect her decision after they reached out to her to ask for permission to continue. She gave them permission but they wanted to respect her second chapter so they made their decision to post TROB on Patreon. Now they will do early release on Patreon then post it on YT. I just wanted to explain their reasoning to those willing to understand
