Mr Gatt, I read your post. I'm in my late-40s, have always lived a conservative life of chasing excellence, never got married or had children. While I have no regrets, now I do would like to get married (no GF now or even on the horizon). But I read your post and many other posts similar to yours about remaining alone, like I live currently in my own home. Do you think it'd be better to continue to live alone? Yes, I know, only I know the answer to that, but gosh, here I am wanting to get married after chasing excellence all my life, but feel I'd be making a mistake if I do get married (again, not that there's any girl interested).

I hear what you're saying, but would you (theoretically) really want to have waited 20 years to discover what marriage is really like? Would you really want to be in your 40s or 50s before having kids and be 60-70+ when they graduate from college? Better not to regret and just learn from what you've experienced. Grass is always greener and all that.

I’m 50, but dated quite a bit in my early to mid 40’s following my divorce. It was really quite liberating to be free of a bad marriage. The women I typically met had recently exited a 10+ year marriage with a couple of kids, and thought they could pick up where they left off before their marriage. In their heads, they were still early ‘20’s fun party girls and too entitled to notice what the ravages of time and lack of self-care had done to them.

I agree; the most lonely and rudderless I have ever felt in my entire life was when I was in a bad & destructive LTR some 20 yrs ago, and had been relegated to a submissive beta male "by a thousand concessions" by a manipulative and broken woman who I wrongly thought I loved. Fast-forward now to my early 50's, and I have come to the conclusion that I am now the happiest and most content that I have ever been in my life, left alone to do my own thing and pursue my own goals, and essentially live my own life to the best of my abilities to choose my friends, associates and sexual partners at my own discretion. Thing is, I currently have several different women in my life (Richard terms it as "spinning plates" I believe) so am certainly not sexless nor living a cloistered existence. and have an active social life through my work and many sports and hobbies. I have simply embraced the idea of living my own life on my own terms and inviting only like-minded others into my frame, whether they be friends, associates or women I wish to have compliment my life. I kinda subconsciously worked much of this stuff out over the past decade or so through trial and error, however Richard's book and videos have crystallised all this into a tangible resource for reference and have validated my life choices. . The problem is ofcourse unreasonable entitlement but also another problem is women past the age of 25 usually have kids. Most men don't want to enter a relationship with a single mum, and regardless of what redpill says men after the age of 25 will find it difficult to get young women. Young women think they can 'always get a high value male when I'm 30' and have no use for older men other than gold diggery

Heard a stat that for the first time in history, 50% of women over 30 in the US are single and childless, so I wouldn't say they 'usually' have kids. Years ago when I did internet dating at least half didn't. Those at 35 or up with no kids are professionally single anyway. Then of course if a man has been married he probably also has kids. Then there's the overlooked factors of the probability of those kids already having fathers and no you don't need to assume responsibility or try to. Then there's the fact you should not live together unless you want to risk your income and assets, so those kids of hers are not making noise or mess for you to deal with. Not true men over 25 find it difficult to get young women. To begin with that includes 26 yr olds. It's social circles that get smaller as you age if you're not extravert, making it difficult to meet people in real life. Women liking older men isn't an issue if they are in shape. I'm 16 yrs older than mine

Women today are basically a 1 and want a 10
@LDT7Y
@LDT7Y 9 ай бұрын
They always wanted a 10. These days they just don't have to accept painful sex with a guy they aren't physically attracted to, since they can earn their own money. Everyone wants a partner they are attracted to. That's just life. You either genuinely attract someone you like based on your own traits or you have to pay money for someone to pretend to be attracted to you. No getting around that. Both sexes need to accept things for what they are. Both the unattractive men complaining that women have stopped pretending to like them and the unattractive women complaining that they have to pay for a 10 to show them interest the same way that men have done for millenia. If women care that much about hooking up with a 10, they can hire a male hooker. But most haven't worked that out yet (thanks to the media telling them they are all queens and can attract a 10 naturally).

I'm 6-1. Dated and married a 9. I divorced her 15 years later after finding out she was a serial adulterer. After 200k and 3 lawyers, I won custody of the kids. Lost my house, my career - she ruined my reputation, all my money. When the kids were sent to live with me, I still paid her child support for another 3 years. $2000 a month. That was 10 years ago. I've almost recovered. Just sayin 6 foot tall could be a curse. I have any number of women after me at any time. At 50 I reject most. It seems after 45ish most of these single women are jaded and vile. Mostly drunks, with weight issues. And at this age they have no means to conceal their multiple red flags. I will also add, that your average 50 year old woman has zero stamina or ability to perform basic tasks like changing light bulbs, and house maintenance. They are no longer "strong and independent", of course they never were. In my age range, you will get any number of desperate thirsty women calling out of the blue to help them, take them to appointments etc. I never do this, but amazingly they still call or text.

Small correction: you were a 'nice' guy. Nice guys are not so nice. Most of them have an agenda. Women intuitively know this. How would you feel knowing the women you met were 'nice' women, who were only after the bulge in your pants (I mean your wallet)? I'm sure you would be disgusted. There are WAY too many guys on YT who say their women left them when the money dried up. In school, first you get the lesson, then you get the test. In life, first you get the test, then you get the lesson. And the test will be repeated until you learn the lesson. My rules are to be 1) polite, honest, & direct. 2) my words & actions MUST ALIGN. A nice add on is -do not trash others, and put yourself first. I found that if you follow rules 1 & 2, the add on happens on its own.

I'll end up running out of money, so how the hell does the OTHER GUY do it?? I earn good money, but I'm not going to keep her constantly entertained so she can stay with me. I'll end up in debt. Heck, I've run out of jokes to tell! If anyone says that the woman is bored with my sex, we'll, at some point, that same woman will get bored with any BF's or husband's sex. I can assure you that quality women will completely forego intimacy rather than manshare- even sharing an ‘alpha’ male. NOTHING is more ‘alpha’ than a self actualized woman who knows her worth. I say that with all humility. A quality woman has to work extremely hard to achieve and maintain a healthy emotional/spiritual and physical balance. Either ONE man can match her or he cannot. A self aware woman knows that and will not compromise her peace by getting with a male ( even an alpha one) who cannot.

Forget about dating apps. Waste of time and money, and the women on the apps aren’t worthwhile. An attractive, well-adapted woman whith feminine qualities isn’t relying on dating apps to meet men. She’s either already in a relationship or has plenty of guys hitting on her in the real world. Work on your real-world self, skills, and game and delete the dating apps.

@@brianwaller7383 The average woman has D flying at her from every direction, in 3D. The amount of attention they regularly receive as a matter of course is unfathomable to the average man because it’s not part of the average man’s experience. This cannot be changed in our society, short of going to a restrictive extreme on women such as what occurs in fundamentalist religious communities and countries. It’s unrealistic to expect this to occur in our secular society, so you have to just accept it, play the game, step into the batter’s box and try to make something happen, realizing that you’re going to make an out far more frequently than you get on base or hit a home run. Men can “flip the script” to a certain degree by improving themselves and learning/using Game, but the default setting is that women are the sexual selectors, so concentrate on making yourself more “selectable.”

100% agree; women need to lower their standards and a lot these guys need to work on themselves a bit. And yeah, you always have to provide some kind of entertainment for her 😄A lot of boring people out there (especially women if I'm being honest; I've friend-zoned/ghosted a whole bunch of them due to this). I would also add that there is a rise in lonely single women as well (although they're not necessarily alone). I kind of get the feeling that young people aren't even capable of loving someone for an extended period of time these days. Too many people get sucked into this fast-food lifestyle where you can get almost anything you want at a moments notice and so people end up getting lazier, more easily bored, more spontaneous and incapable of any long-term commitments and planning. You also have all of these social media addicts who are only capable of loving themselves (narcissists), not to mention that I have a bunch of guy friends who have quit the game entirely.
