@Tomas Tronipule Completely agree. Like this video stated, Michelle gave a brilliant, deep + nuanced performance as Shu Lien. It is much harder to portray a believable dignified + quiet character, repressing all her internal emotions + passions, than a selfish, spoiled insolent brat, whom doesn't have any sense of right + wrong. I always though Michelle gave an awarding winning performance in CTHD; I don't trust the Oscars, but for her sake, I hope she wins Best Actress.

I absolutely love Michelle Yeoh. Everything I've seen her in, even the terrible 3rd Mummy movie. She has such a presence, grace, strength, sly sense of humor, and absolute badassery, that she elevates EVERY project that she's a part of. Extremely intelligent and a woman's woman. Michelle's best films: -1984's Yes, Madam w Cynthia Rothrock -Supercop, also with the brilliant Maggie Cheung + Jackie. -The Heroic Trio, + its sequel The Executioners, again w Maggie + the magnificent late Anita Mui -1994 Wing Chun, the tofu tray fight is hilarious + Donnie Yen getting 2nd billing. -1997 The Soong Sisters, again w Maggie -2000 CTHD, one of the best films ever crafted into eternity -2011 The Lady, where Michelle portrayed Aung San Sui Kyi, + had to give a long speech in Burmaese. -Obviously the award winning EEAAO.

Michelle is the female Jackie Chan. Jackie did not have many best actors either, but he was commercially successful. Therefore, you cannot say underrated.
