Nightwing has long been one of my three favorite characters at DC and this whole "Ric" business made me drop the book completely.

Nightwing is one of my favourite characters of all time. It's so annoying when he doesnt get the respect he deserves. Gets easily beat up in DC animations, killed by Damian in Injustice, gets shot multiple times and lost an eye in Batman Beyond, loses his secret identity... And now this?! Why?😩

No. Rick's too cool to be a Nightwing. He's just Ric. But he does show up and work with the Nightwings. But that was someone else. He's his own man. He's Ric Grayson.

@@TevyaSmolka You know, one small concern I had before buying the issue digitally today was that Tom Taylor's main claims to fame are Injustice and DCeased, one of which killed Nightwing in the first issue and the other killed him in a pretty ridiculous way. But after reading it, I'm satisfied. I just wish that it was a twice a month series again.

The Ric arc is basically officially over since Joker War started. They really made it hard to read at first. However, I do kind of like the Court of the Owls in it. Basically once the encounter between Talon and Ric on the rooftop through issue 69. Still, wouldn’t recommend the whole Ric saga to someone.

...I know Nightwing is a Memetic Sex God, but I did not need to see Ric in his underwear. Also, that bit where you referenced the Nickelodeon jingle made me picture the montage that accompanied it, except everyone in it is replaced with Dick Grayson in all of his incarnations.

After Ric happened I couldn't pick up DC comics anymore because I knew Ric existed at that moment in the universe I really didn't mean to be that dramatic about it. I did try to read other comics but I realized I didn't care if Dick didn't exist and that's how I realized how he was so important to me as a reader ;^^ Dan Didio really hates Dick so much doesn't he? He couldn't stand how people treated him when he wanted to kill Dick so he treats him so poorly just so people would say they wish he were dead rather than doing what he's doing. Rather than taking my money it feels like someone has some personal vendetta against Dick. I find that amazing. If it's not Dan Didio it's someone up there lol They're even making it look like it's a 'bad' thing that Dick is coming back by making the Joker agree with the readers who hate Ric and want Dick back too. lmfao For me personally if Dick's not back DC is not getting any of my money or my time and that's just how it's going to be.
